  1. They can call the colour scheme PINK FLOYD
  2. cool fixie use it for curb jumps
  3. Well R150k is still cheaper than R1mil which was the cost of Tom Boonen's Specialized bike in 2008. Pinarello/ Colnago/ DeRosa is like Rolex. We think Rolex is the ultimate expensive watch untill you own a black credit card and you realise Rolex is a "cheap" brand. Having said that.... I still love my Pinarello Steel Pista though
  4. That's the groupo +wheels etc. that came with my Dad's Cannondale. I'm rebuilding a 1988 'dale in memory of him...now if I can only get around to paint the frame to the correct colour and get the blue cable housing
  5. Drop the saddle lunch pack and the gun mounted to the stem. Go "click" "click" and drop the bunch like Alberto
  6. You've already got everything you need, ok except race fuel, but that's provided on the day Don't get told to buy this or that gadget you don't need it to finish your first IM Don't worry about doing any triathlons, they won't prepare you for Ironman, it is a completely different beast Ironman is 21km road race preceded by a very very long warmup!!!!! Good luck and enjoy the greatest race on the planet
  7. Threads mate, threads
  8. hehehe great one GO I myself had some veldrome fun with tubbies without glue, same thing, the guys tend to stay away from you
  9. Don't be a woes, just glue the thing and slap it on the rim. Even the most difficult tubby to fit - Conti's Gatorskin, isn't that difficult. It's only if you're planning to ride the Alps downhill that you should follow the 7-day-to-fit-a-tubby-procedure
  10. Awesome pics, shot!!! Wish I could be part of the action
  11. Great varsity bike. Don't buy a brooks yet, not for varsity!!! Bike theft is a big industry at varsities, so use a proper U clamp lock. Esp a looker like yours will attract attention, and it will get scrapes and bumps etc against lamp posts etc. so Brooks is for after varsity O and stuff the singlespeed, ride Fixed
  12. I know U2 received plenty negative reviews on their latest and probably last cd, No Line on the Horizon, but man do I like it. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Been listening to it now for months and it's right up there with some of their best albums (for me in any case) So lets say song of the day is: MAGNIFICENT
  13. black eye peas did this thing for Oprah for her birthday with their lastest hit. They start by one person in the crowd dancing, then 2, then 4, 16.....25000 people dancing in sinc doing the same moves!!!! Don't know how they managed that, but it looks awesome
  14. With the competition able to make a succesful electronic groupo, I'm glad Campag found a market they can change too great pic nothingness!!
  15. No words will make the pain less and no action will bring them back. Condolences to the family from someone who knows the pain

  22. SHIMANO FOREVER
  23. Here's a pic of me on a 54cm race mechine at SA's All I'm saying is convetional wisdom is not always correct. you need find out what works with your anatomy
  24. 1.89 and a standard 54cm frame 120mm stem 175mm cranks BB/ top saddle - 810mm I like an aggressive setup with a smaller frame for added stiffness etc, but not for the faint hearted I must admit 58 is my "correct" size slowtwitch2009-12-10 07:55:27
