No stress from my side, I am coming back after 4 weeks off the bike so not looking to blaze around the course;-) Would like to try and test the legs here and there. Would be good to see how quickly I can go up Old Hels, after that happy to just cruise with the guys.

I would like to have my frame touched up etc, have chatted to the guys at BMC. Was just wondering if anyone has had their frames resprayed there? and if they were happy with the results? Any other places I can try in Cape Town area? Thanks

I am riding to work and back so morning and afternoon ride. Having no issues, initially went nice and slow just spinning the legs, at this stage I feel no different to my rides before the fast actually. Find that I can push for certain stints. Also going to start with longer weekend ride this week, I have kept it to relatively short distances though. I find I actually feel better on the days I cycle have much more energy than on those days I dont.

Just asked them if the run has happened as everyone says they have dropped, this was the response: No, not yet the seeding run will only take place the end of July first week in August. I guess there was a run that happened but there is another annual run that must take place and perhpas we will see some correction...we live in hope

I asked them and they said they only doing the run at the end of the month, so Argus not taken into account yet. We do not have the new numbers as yet, we will only be posting them as of the end of July. The new annual seeding run has not taken place yet, this will also only be done at the end of the month. You can pay your subs now already it’s just we won’t have a number for you.

There are so many negative Contador threads , I agree that the people who create these must feel very threatened for their favourites, by the great rider. I hope he has his climbing legs and will be able to challenge for the Yellow Jersey, besides it being great entertainment for us mere mortals, if he manages to get up there this year with all the bad luck and negative sentiments, it must mean he is true champion. I agree that just the way he had handled eveything to date already puts him in a class of his own. The fact is that it would had to take a very tough Giro to actually bring him down to the level of the other challengers. Nobody else in the current Peloton would not or could not even attempt it.

The fact that there was a crash and a hold up, had nothing to with Conatdors abaility to win, that was just bad luck. I think you right Contador off too soon, but you will learn that the hard way
