Really sorry to hear this, I have on many occasion been tempted to ride the trail alone, these days I only go If I know there is at least 2 of us riding, but your account above is scary even if its 2 of you, faced in that same situation you probably dont want to risk being stabbed for any material things. Very sad state of affairs. Makes you realise how big the mountain is, when you need help, often its a long way to anyone who can hear you.

Hi Where did you buy your Garmin Edge 500 bundle from and what did you pay? Best price I have found is off CRC and it looks like it will come to 2400 with duties, no shipping because buying with a freind so we will take 2 units.

So enjoying the Mtb, still a novice on the downhills and use the brakes allot, I find that they are very noisy though, is there a way to clean disk brakes or how do you remedy noisy brakes?

I ride with both First Ascent Revolution and Cape Storm Matrix Bibs, out of the two I prefer the First Ascent but I actually dont like either, I bought them to test out and use them for my short rides into work and back. They cant compare to my Nalini Bibs for comfort etc... Nalini, Castelli, and host of other good brands are quite close in price to these bibs, you should shop around.

Busy trying this out currently with capture card used my tv outs last night and worked fine, gonna look at the back of the dstv decoder later to see if I can use outputs there and hopefully get better quality.
