funny how we all had the same experiences..... a while ago when my LBS couldn't get me a Campag chain in time (I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery), they said I must shop round, go to Willie etc....I just didn't feel comfortable doing that....so I rather waited ....

I think another thing we have to remember is that there are a lot of other bike shops around that is facing the same fate, very soon. I heard a lot of them are struggling/failing at the moment in this industry.... things are really that bad !

sorry, if i'm a killjoy, but you never know if someone who reads these posts may have been a victim themselves. I agree!! I'll propably get slammed for this but I've never been a big MJ fan not way back in the 80's and not now so I'm totally indifferent about his death and since the child molestation/MaCully Culkin rumours started I even became more anti-MJ. I felt so strong about it, that I switched the radio off when a MJ song is played (my way of boykotting the dude) ...I guess no radio for me today, then But I also do the the same when the radio stations play Chris Brown songs.... I agree, my blood pressure also shot up a few notches, when I read this bit..... What does it have to do with a guy being shot.....he didn't do anything wrong, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time

that reminds me of how horrible I felt in Oudtshoorn a few weeks ago when all these children were begging for money/food etc in the P'n P parking area, ....and I just ignored them....and I knew they were cold and hungry... but I also couldn't ignored the bottle of glue they were sniffing...

I did not fall or hurt anything. This just happened while cycling last year. Started to feel this stabbing pain on the side off my knee where the fibula head is and could not continue. after a day it was better and I was out there again. then some time later had it again an later it moved over and was worse on the left leg. Now its so bad - it never goes away and I stopped training / riding now for more than a month. still the pain is getting worse.
