I must say....I do watch Supercycling from time to time occationally there is something on to watch... So in great anticipation I watched Tuesday night's show and must add that I'm terribly dissapointed that there wasn't more made out of the Darryl Impy/Theo Bos incident, besides Andrew's explanation of what he thought might have happened. They should have tried HARDER to obtain the footage of the incident....that is what a cycling show is for !! It doesn't have to be "Jerry Springer" like...but when there is controversy....air it !!
that sounds like something the police will say I hope Erik recovers soon.... even on the Bottelary rd in the evenings the kids get nasty....rocks and sticks come flying at you from all directions.... I have learned to squirt <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> water in their faces when they come to close....
actually, you were one of the few people that I have allowed to push me, but you asked first....so I was prepared.... but that "surprise" element from others trying to push me....doesn't work for me so lekker
you can get arm/leg warmers from any of these brands, anatomic, first ascent, howzit, rapid sport, cape storm....take your pick...!! personally, I'd rather go cold before I wear the pants thing.....
Its a very good idea to get out of that wet sweaty chamois and pants. If you can't immediately after a race get out of your cycling pants, ask you wife/girlfriend (or you can do it your self if you're brave ), to buy you some feminine wipes (that is also at the feminine dept at the pharmacy) or any anti bacterial wipes, keep those in your bag and use it after races. It will prevent a rash.
Sorry BMC, ORCA and I are also out from Saturday's ride. I would like to stick to my training program....wasn't too happy to deviate from it to begin with Really sorry, next time
