get a louder bell...Get a nice loud whistle that you can hang around your neck or on the shoulder of your bag ... this has saved my bacon many a times with pedestrians
I like this thread...
I am not clipped in, but always try do them... And some days I just don't have the balance, others I can do them all day long.
My best was 2 light changes, with a long crawl between them, and a crawl into the interchange, I was turning right, across the traffic, earned huge respect from the car behind me. He got stuck at the next light and made space for me, then followed me down a long hill, stopping a big truck from coming next to me.
I have a white Shova and love it....goes well with the white Lyrik!
Please tell me you didn't just type that...
Ugggggghhhhh
Love mine...
Nothing wrong with it what so ever...
So the bomb hole claimed another rider today.
I was the first first aid trained cyclist to offer assistance, which is concerning, as the patient must have been down for a while when I arrived.
Without going into details, he was relatively stable, but in shock, I stabilised him and got him into a flat recovery position, and waited for the paramedics. It is a neck and upper back injury, so there wasn't much more to do, except keep him stable and wait for the professionals.
Thankfully my work has always required me to be first aid trained and I would say that the skills lernt gets used once every 6 months or so.
Personally, I would love to see more people doing a first aid course, especially because of the dangers associated with riding. They are inexpensive and you can do a basic one in a day.
Those okes are wicked!
Yip, they might be burms, but they aren't right...
Got one to eat, but couldn't jam it. Got a tarpon in 3 foot of water, and 4 bones over 10lbs.So, are we going to get a report back on this, you cannot come bragging on the hub and not tell us if you caught a Permit!!!! :cursing: [emoji107]
Read the next Flyfishing Magazine for the article.

Have a chat with the Sheriff.
Important things that I will consider from one lady rider to another lady rider
1. A good ladies saddle
2. Stand over height
3. A proper setup
4. The bike must look appealing to the lady rider.
5. You don't have to go for a ladies specific bike
and lastly a nice outfit ... she needs to look and feel good
Going to see the Sheriff tomorrow...
I have said before ....I believe geometry of a bike is as important as the size. And the geometry is determined on what you plan to ride.
Yip, going to look closely at the geometry.
Thank you.
Just trying to find out who's riding what?
There is a ladies saddle thread, which made a lot of sense, thought this might be a good idea.
So I am trying to find out more about getting a bike for my gf.
She is 5'1" and 50kg's. knows how to ride, but hasn't ridden trails and things.
So ladies, what pony are you on?
What size are you on, versus your height?
and
What recommendations do you have when buying a ladies bike? What to look for specifically and what to avoid.
Thanks.
Come and fetch that green Silverback for the evening .
Thanks Sheriff, was gonna come visit on Friday anyway, she will be in tow. We will check it out.
B)
I have a small Merida TFS300 that my daughter rides that you can borrow. PM me if interested.
That's awesome. Thank you guys so much.
Lets do this.
If anyone is riding mass next Friday and has a small that they might be willing to lend us, it would be greatly appreciated.

I see it now, don't race, so did think about it.
It's probably still there. Gonna go look now.
If I do get it, is there some way to get the ball rolling now?
