    I switched away from 4mb uncapped to Afrihost 4mb 150GB Unshaped account. Streaming of Redbull UCI coverage and this movie at 720p works without a glitch. Everytime. Click play, streams for 5 seconds and starts playing without needing to buffer till the end for >2 hours.

    A really hard and tough soccer game leaves me way more exhausted than a 50km bike race. Averages are normally even higher than 12km. Add to that hits taken in tackles and it gets pretty rough. I challenge you. Do 12km of stop start sprints and see how hard it really is. Doing that 3 times a week and add to that the training and it becomes too much. Just because you can cycle 100km+ doesn't mean you will last 90min in a fast paced soccer game. As cyclists we moan about the way we are treated by non cyclists with regard to it being apparently "easy", but do the same to people playing other sports.

    I rode Majik today. At around 3:30, I was riding down the singletrack. Just before entering the forest section I saw a glint in the sun. Almost went over the bars trying to stop and came to a halt about half a meter in front of FISHING LINE strung around two trees to try and knock a rider from his/her bike. Would have caught me about stomach height! So people please watch out!

    What are the conditions to use the showers? Can I: Park, do Jonkers, shower, drink a quick coffee, maybe eat a breakfast, and go to work?

    I took a tumble there last Friday as well. Front wheel got caught and I went over the bars. Luckily I fell in between the rocks on 'softer' ground, with no damage done apart from a bruised ego. Right after the rock section there is a rock in the middle of the path angled towards any rider going over the bars. I missed it by luck, now someone was not so lucky. Its placement is seriously dangerous as we saw here. Hope he heals and all the best!

    Hi, I will be at our holiday home in Hermanus from Friday 25th - Monday 28th April for the long weekend. I would love to do the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley Black route with some company. Don't intend to race it as fast as possible but also not stop every 10 minutes. So if you are keen let me know! Pieter
