@Tiny, as far as I am aware racing licences are not taken into account for Argus. They use the top seeded people in each category and work backwards! So applying for a racing licence will make no difference. VB 06:24

Everything was good besides the so called "neutral" start! Really need to work on it for next year! My "race" was ruined before I walked over the timing mats! Otherwise great reace from the point of view of marshals and potholes! Did a great job since last year!

I also have a speed sensor s-series for a S725X which has stopped working. Tried replacing battery and I get the flashing red light and can hear the magnet "click" when it goes past. If I put the watch close to the sensor it will pick up the speed. But as soon as I put the watch on the handlebars it seems to go out of range. Speed sensor is on my front fork. Is there any reason why the range would decrease like this?

A mate of mine lost his Garmin 500 at the 94.7 yesterday. Would have been around the hospitality area between the bike park and the tents. I would go with Capricorn on this one. I have the same problem but only when in my smallest gear. Chain comes off the "top" pulley wheel of the derailleur when I back pedal. I cant sort it out unfortunately and dont really understand why it just started happening. only way i can sort it out is by adjusting the derailleur but then my gears skip when i change! Rather live with the back pedal problem!

Unfortunately having snapped the axle in my pedal and bitten the tarmac , I have a few questions to ask of the people in the know! 1. Can I just replace the snapped axle with another axle from a look pedal. I have Look CX7 pedals and I really like them and dont really want to buy new ones! 2. What are the odds of a pedal axle snapping? Is this a common occurence? 3. Now onto the begging part! If it is possible to swap the axle, does anybody know where I can get one from or have a old set of CX7 pedals they dont use anymore that I can take the axle from. Came a cropper this morning and cracked my seatpost! Any ideas on how safe it would be to carry on riding on a cracked seat post. Seatpost is a bontrager race lite - aluminium - on a road bike. Anybody know where I can get a new bontrager race lite seat post? or anybody looking to get rid of a seat post on the cheap!
