  1. Tim Just do what you need to do bud. No need to get anyone's approval/disapproval of what you wanna do here. Live your dream and tell us about yr successes and yr failures, sure you will get a lot of support and maybe on good days some sympathy. I doubt the hub absence will make you better though - you know what will attribute to your cycling success. Go out and do that. If you dont succeed, look elsewhere for the reasons, the hub cannot be the only one - if there are any. Just be careful that all work and no play makes Tim a dull boy. Good luck I will be perusing the results to track your progress.

  8. Question really is what were the motives for doing it: - Bad sales - Guilty conscience (after the price fixing debacle) - A way to get rid of bikes no one wants to buy? - Jobs on the line? - No bonusses for big bra's Just wondering

  11. Ok , lets put them to the test. Requested a quote from Cyclesure and Pedalcare. I am with Outsurance now. Will post results without the co's names when I have the quotes.
  12. cyclesure much more xpensive than Outsurance in my experience. maybe with the new price hike could be different.

  14. Its called commitment Have to get that training in, Epic is just around the cornert. Burry Stander watch out sonny

  17. It happens because no cyclist wants/likes to be passed. You will always try and stay with the passer by, even if it means that the rest of your ride is way too fast or you blow and then you ride way too slow back home. Seeing another cyclist ahead of you, you think, if I can catch him, I can have an easier ride, I will feel great - even if its just for a couple of secs. Me thinks it has alot to do with the male ego, on the female side, not too sure?
  18. do I sense jealously rearing its ugly head DG?
  19. Ladies, I am blushing (and other things due to the jelly tots) now, and subsequently am withdrawing from this conversation, befeore I get my head into something totally unacceptable on this beautiful Fri afternoon
