JT24, I know you said you ride alone ,but really consider riding with a group and/or club. Like klapperknop said Bruce Reyneke's group rides pretty much every day (except monday's) and on Sat and Sun. On a weekend you have 4 groups to choose from. From beginner/slow to really hard and fast.

Can anyone shed some light as to when the seeding index will be updated with this races results?

IrishJ9, If you dont like or are enjoying the Tdf this year just switch your TV off and then you'll have nothing to complain about.

I was under the impression that Cycle Art was "The" place to take your bike for a paint job. Reading this and seeing the pictures of Mampara's paint job, I certainly will not be taking my bike there any time soon. I had intended to take it to them to fix some scratches and stone chips but will look else where now. Any recommendations?? I agree with Klapperknop that the tone in Lilians response is not good.

I dont understand.... your bike is feeking light as far as mountain bikes go. How much lifgter do you want to make it? You need to establish where the cost out weighs the benefit in performance/results

I ride Tempest II tubbies. They are very light responsive and fantastic at high speeds (>40km/h). I have not ridden with 404's

If Super cycling is so bad for you to watch, then just dont watch it! Simple Personally I'd rather watch Supercycling than have no cycling program at all to watch
