    Nothing in these pro models for me. My wallet is safe. they sure do look pretty though. But it’s going in a direction I am not interested in. Will wait til next year.

    You know one could be philosophical about this and realise it’s better to get it 100 percent right. so, hopefully it will be 100 percent right. I have rebuilt entire motors with 5 days including engineering shop time. So 51 or 52 or 53 …… is crazy. Also you can’t run a sustainable workshop like this.

    I was hoping for saffa pricing but alas. They targeting non residents with that pricing. 60 grand. Plus travel etc. I’m in for 90 grand. Rather do MDS for that coin. could win euromillions and then just pay the piper.

    That’s close to me. My son spent a week there doing work experience at the government offices. Croydon has a bad rep but I thought it was fine. Vibey metropolitan. Property is just crazy expensive in the south. When we retire we gonna head north to the Orkney islands for a year or 2.

    Doing a 100km event next month and have spent very little time on the bike this year. Took it out this morning. This pill box is literally 3 km from my house. I have never seen it before but some preservation society cleared all the growth around it and cut a path to the trail for folks to see it. and then, being a football fan I thought l would go visit this football ground. Seen better days, needs a lick of paint and lots of love. Need to win euromillions and I’ll help em out.

    Went down to Farnborough game yesterday. Last season we were front runners. How times have changed. Woeful. but, I had a pie and a few pints in the glorious late summer sunshine so all good.

    Good luck today. a bike shop that is not “sorted” is cause for concern. Time is money , customer satisfaction and all that. it’s gonna be worth the wait I suspect. These big singles are good for smiles.

    Still remember ole Butch Hirsh’s KTM dealership at the top of Commisioner street. Then it was probably the sole KTM dealer in Africa in them days. Never actually went in the shop cos we’d all go down to the shops on Main Street and check out the new boneys. don’t think I’d go down that way now though.

    Seeing as a 1 day Ironman event is now nudging 10 clip, 20 for this is not unreasonable. Probably a lil short of the actual number. then flights and ancillaries, I’m looking at 3 grand in pounds. Which would be tempting if coupled with a bit of a holiday.
