My lovely wife entered a trail run at Newlands corner this morning. Week leading up to today I didn’t think she would do it but alas imagine my surprise this morning when she woke up at 06:30 and said let’s go. I wasnt going to run just support but then I decided to run with her. lovely tropical. The things we do eh.

I know this will be upsetting news to hear, coming only a month after the end of our #titlecharge, but having spoken to eleven of the world's best mathematicians overnight we can confirm that a top 4 finish is now impossible 😢 Thankfully, there is some positive news. Should we win 19 of our last 18 games we can still qualify for one of the lesser European competitions. I know that's cold comfort considering recent developments, but we're still hopeful of a trip to Azerbaijan or Estonia.

Fantastic. I rebuilt an MT50 a few years ago that had been in a shed since 1997. It gave me a huge thrill getting it going. nothing quite like resurrecting an old motor.

Went for another cycle down the Downs link to Brighton. It was icy cold so frozen fingers for most of the way but glorious sunshine and a bunny and pint at the other end made it all worthwhile. Hard going and the crunch under wheel of the frost was a constant companion. Had a hard fall too at one point, but alas, all part of the experience. Rain and snow predicted for weekend so just had to do it. Great day out. All in about 75 kays.

Good question. I reckon it’s cos these are built for rough terrains so the option of having a side stand on either side is good too. but , I hasten to add, I could be off kilter here. edit: I went out for a ride and it struck me, side stands stick out further than a centre stand so would be much more stable for a high COG laden bike. Maybe that’s why.

Yes, he had some good moments in the game and the previous one. A player I kinda keep track of. But them 2 howlers and the 3rd I also felt he should have kept out. But alas. spurs have a goalie drought at the minute so expect to see him until the transfer window opens. uniteds keeper shoulda have been shown a red for his harassment of the ref I thought.

For stability basically. If the bike is heavily loaded operate both stands and keep it upright.
