  1. I would like to second that. Wrist based hearth rate and cycling, especially Mountain Biking, does not go well together.
  2. The AM 45 are also in my "spare box". If someone is interested? Euro size 45.
  3. Little jar just enough for the bolt, spray Q20 in and let it soak over night. May help?
  4. You are probably right.
  5. Shimano AM 45 SPD.
  6. Ups .... what size? How about ......
  7. And the pedals have a new owner.
  8. PM replayed.
  9. Any LBS can order them for you, should not take longer than 3 working days. What area are you based? Have Saint's in my "spare box" only used them 2 times. You can have them for R550, if you be willing to pick them up. And i have a pair off giant pedals, powder coated in blue.
  10. If you want to replace your Minion ... check out the 2.4" Onza Citius DHC, i did it with a FRC version and i am impressed how much more grip it has in fast corners. The DHC and FRC share the same profile, just the casing is stronger. The minion DHF always felt like it will slide, even if it did not, the Citius is like been on rails. Just my personal opinion.
  11. Yup! I even use the "MorshGuard" on my Scott HT, as the Nobby Nic's tend to do the same.
  12. As Myles said The Giant Reign, does have down tube protection anyway .... well .... and the intended use is off road, i suppose some scratches, are just beauty mark's.
  13. Look ... that is why i have a Citius.
  14. Lost hope to get my hands on the Maxxis Aggressor about 2 month ago, installed the Onza Citius instead. Can not complain.
  15. Where did you picked them up? I am very much interested in them.
  16. ...... if you manage to put in compressed helium, it my even lift slightly off the floor ...
  17. @veez999 .... Just ride, till you fall of your bike. Nothing better than the endless, extensive network off trails, scenery and challenges. A bit "hike a bike" will never hurt, there are places out there ... worth a lot off effort, to get to it. Just take your cellphone with GPS maps, if you may get lost. As "RocknRolla" stated, DO NOT forget the water. It is pretty safe out there, never had any incident, but it will be better to be NOT alone. Especially if you run out of luck or talent, it is good to have someone helping, to get back on your bike.
  18. Just take it with you in the shower, after a ride. You even safe water.
  19. Giro has a general recommendation of replacing your helmet every three (3) years. If you are unsure of the condition of your helmet, or whether it should be replaced, call us at (800) 456-2355 or e-mail us at giro-consumersupport@giro.com for information on a free inspection. As stated on the Giro Cycling FAQ. http://www.giro.com/eu_en/cycling-faqs/ Get your self a new one
  20. Asked myself the same question, would it not be better in front?
  21. You have Erik's Number on that map, he was out on Sunday morning, cleaning the trails. Many of the signs are arrows on stones, easy to overlook ... but hard to steal!
  22. As a proud owner of a Reign 2, i honestly promise, to keep it all day safe, i will service it,i will always look after it, and clean after each (dirty) ride, by my self. BUT ... i will ride it, like it is the last time i will be able to do so, i will not stop for obstacles that others tackled before, or chose a chicken line. I will ride witch ever trail has been build, regardless of grading, or i will try and try again, till i can. I own this bike since March 2015, it only went on a tared road once, that was the Cradle Loop, @ Van Gaalen the odd gravel road's, to get from one trail, to another. Every other kilometer, has been done on various trails around Gauteng. Thaba Trails, Heia Safari, Hakahana, Red Barn, Kings Kloof, Hobby Park, Northern Farms, Klapperkop, Groenkloof .... i may forgott one ot two 2600km, 180h, 35 460m elevation gain and 80 rides all together, and i am still smiling every second i am on it. For me personally, it is the perfect .... do it all ... bike. Up or down it does it all, and it only stops, if i am running out of talent. I bought it for R34 000, i could not spend my money better. What have i changed? Handlebar = i needed more back sweep Brakes = personal choice, may not rely necessary Saddle = just could not do a longer ride than 2 hours on it Shimano clipless trail paddles and a Tubeless conversion. As the little Advanced brother, it should count as mini review, for it ????
  23. Hope that Nicolai was not posted before ??
