  2. A change of scenery - New York! Great experience but not for the faint at heart. I was cycling with my 13yr old nephew so was extra careful. But so cool to cycle here and take in the views http://i65.tinypic.com/2gvnb7c.jpg
  3. We re watching with family now and going "oh look, That's so and so's house" "That's where dinges used to live" hehe
  4. They're passing a lot of familiar places from my youth now :-) we used to cycle up and down those hills with our crappy kids bikes. Good fun. Maybe I should ride the amateur ronde next year.

  10. Oh how I wish I was in sunny CPT again, getting all exited about race-day... Fingers crossed for no fires, no crazy winds, no disruptions and just a glorious happy day. Wishing you all the best & lots of fun Will be following you from cold and rainy Europa
  11. He's all settled with his new family. They took him to the vet, he's about 10-12 weeks and should weigh around 2kg, but he's only 1.2kg. But he's very happy, follows them every where. The vet couldn't hear his heartbeat because he was purring so loudly, the cutie.
  12. Gee Gen, scary experience. Glad to know every one is ok and your sons didn't notice too much. How old are they?
  13. I think he'll become a very handsome cat with half long hair. He was purring so loudly and curled up in my neck, so happy to have found comfort
  14. We found this cutie at work, skinny and hungry and dirty hair and an infected eye but irresistably cute. One of my co-workers adopted him. I was tempted myself to take him home but our cat is a dominant male so not a good idea. http://i67.tinypic.com/ztbtvl.jpg
  15. This made me cry , dogs are heroes http://qklnk.co/j0AJTZ
  16. what do you think of my new project?
  17. our fluffball, 8 years now, a real alpha male. Since our other cat died in november, he's become much more attached to us. Weird, because he was always chasing our other cat away but now it seems he misses her company during the day. We've been away for 10 day during the holidays and he's been following me around like a puppy since then. I felt guilty so now I let him sleep on the bed when he wants to... http://i67.tinypic.com/6fqusp.jpg
  18. What a cutie
  19. @Gen, What do your other fluffy housemates think of Batcat?
  20. it took me 3 months in evening school but I'm really proud of the result
  21. That little one is just too cute. It seems he/she agrees with you and decided this is her/his new home
  22. thanks for the sympathies
  23. Our sweet girl was hit by a car 2 weeks ago. She had a good and happy life with us the past 12years. But I would've loved to keep her a few more years. She had such a kind personality.
  24. My mom wanted some new shelves for her kitchen. Made this out of some plain pine wood (the vertical slats) and some scraps (horizontal, don't know what it is). Will treat it with the vinegar steelwool solution but it's not ready yet.
