  1. Thanks for sharing Frosty. Do you have a gold or platinum account? Credit card only or full suite?
  2. Movescount is no longer supported by Vitality as of last month. You have to use the Suunto app. Your watch may not be compatible with the new app though?
  3. Vitality will recognise that it wasn't recorded on an approved device and you will not be allocated any points.
  4. You've been unable to earn Vitality points by recording with Strava for the past several years. I could be wrong but with an HR strap or band that can connect to your phone, you should be able to earn the max amount of points by recording with any of the supported apps on your phone. iHealth, Samsung Health, Garmin Connect, Polar Flow, Suunto etc.
  5. As Reme said, nope.Use the Samsung Health app to record your activity & steps for 100 points. Or if you have a Bluetooth HR strap, connect it to your phone and earn up to 300 points with the Samsung Health app.
  6. 1) Incorrect. The Credit Card does come with a transactional and saving account linked to it. 2) If you are already on Gym Booster pre-October 2019 then nothing should change, except that your cash back must be paid into a Discovery account, in the form of Discovery Miles. You should still get the "up to 100% saving with gym booster".
  7. Yes, carried over to the following year as normal. If you're on Diamond, you'll only need to get a bit more points next year. The old rule of 3 years on gold=diamond is no longer.
  8. Working the system nicely [emoji106] you're on discovery Insure as well I assume. Have you joined the Bank to get 3 plays per week?
  9. Every Wednesday morning. But it is kinda lame only getting one play per week and I've been hitting 25pts for months in a row. Looking forward to playing for D$ next year.
  10. Well done Engela. JaSure, how many entries were there for interests sake?
  11. Do you mean 'when will the former Discovery Card be discontinued?'
  12. Is Discovery Bank officially open to everyone now? I finally received my invite yesterday to transfer over from Discovery Card, after being one of the first to sign up in November last year. 9 months later, wow well done Discovery. Pity I just paid my Miles annual fee, so definitely not going to move across until Miles actually launches on the Bank, especially since I currently earn on average R600 worth of Miles per month with the X10 multiplier.
  13. I had the same experience last month on an old pair of Scott shoes where the cable had snapped. I mailed Scott to request a fix under warranty. The same day I stumbled upon the Boa site and requested a replacement. I just selected the dial that looked the same and didn't even need to upload a photo of the broken lace or proof or purchase or anything. The next week 2x replacement kits arrived at my office, within the same time that Scott took to reply to my mail and tell me to take my shoes and proof of purchase to a dealer for them to photograph and confirm that the Boa is faulty, and confirm the shoe size and that I am the original owner and bla bla.
  14. DHR2 2.4WT mounts up 2.3inch wide on 30mm rims.
  15. Maxxis exo+ sidewalls lost zero psi overnight before I even got around to adding sealant.
  16. Fresh rubber, ah yeah. Ordered the last one online from Trail Tech Cycles for a decent price. New tyre will be mounted up front, and ex front tyre moved to the back. It took my Bonty XR4 freaking ages to die/eventually wear out.
  17. I had Conties all to myself this afternoon. A two hour ride with not a single other rider in sight.
  18. EWC 2019 Round 1: Conties - 9 June Round 2: Hoogies - 21 July
  19. And then know the code to every single gate in the whole Tygerberg trail network? Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  20. Question for anyone in the know:How is a day visitor supposed to get through the locked gates into Hillcrest? Are they expected to take the tar road to the front gate? Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  21. From the news letter...YES PLEASE [emoji1690] "We are looking at and programming, in conjunction with the land owner, building a new BLACK descent on one of our trail centres, that has both the elevation and natural terrain to incorporate such a trail. I know you will probably end up rating the trail as Green after riding it, given your superior riding skills, but the intention is to build something that will scare the pants off most of us mere mortals and is indeed something we as a club and the committee are looking forward to!!" 22. The regular Ardent 2.4 will be a better all-rounder than those other two options. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  23. 1. You just said in your original post that you had "(All Done) your Vitality Fitness Assessments". [emoji848] The device booster is pretty simple. Pay the R350 activation fee and earn R2000 back over the next 24 months if you acheive all your goals.
