    Just a heads up...........For those that were inquiring about the runn treadmill sensor, Xciter sports are now selling locally. I got a mate to bring me one from the US and it really works like a charm. I use mine on zwift and it works perfectly. What`s great is that everyone in the household can use it and not have to recalibrate for each person.

    I was reading somewhere that the Kenyans, Ugandans, Ethiopians and most of the East Africans were training in their homelands with training groups during their lock down period, with no external influences. Can you imagine running with a group of 10 plus individuals on a daily basis , all of whom could qualify for the olympics.

    Silly question i`m sure..... My road bike has gone in for some tlc. Is it possible to connect my tandem to the smart trainer and ride on zwift in the interim ? Only i will be on the bike so should not affect power etc.

    I will be doing the 50 miler, starting tomorrow morning. The runners out on course now are really battling with the heat today, however, the next 2 days will be wet and cold.

    Ran a bit with her last Saturday. She is aiming for 100 half marathons in 100 days. BTW....Only lasted about 2 km`s with her, then she dropped me like a hot potato.

    Might be a silly question, but here goes. I have noticed that some TV`S have android and bluetooth capabilities now built into them. So i assume you can get into the google play store on the tv and download zwift directly onto the tv. Would it then be possible to pair the smart trainer directly to the tv`s bluetooth or would that not be possible ? I am a tad technologically challenged so please no flaming.

    I must say those endorphin`s look awesome. I see a few good reviews on them thus far.

    would recommend the brooks ghost all day. I have had the last 4 models are they are by far the most comfortable shoes i have run in. I went against my better judgement and bought the new balance 1080 v10 and regretted every moment. Don`t get me wrong the new balance is a great shoe and gets very good reviews, but i did not feel comfortable in them.

    I have done some homework on the runn sensor and it looks like the best route to go if there are multi users of the treadmill and it connects to zwift running which is a positive. Are there any local distributors as i can`t fathom paying courier costs and dealing with time delays ?

    Hi all. I have also been following this thread with interest. Question for all you clever people. Is it advisable to have 2 sets of tyres, one for road and one for gravel and just swop the tyres for whichever ride you want to do ?

    My wife and i also did the 10km. It was freezing cold at 6am in the morning. Huge kudos to those brave souls that did the 90km. I had a few friends running the full distance and they said it was mentally destroying with no roadside encouragement or water points. The only replenishment they got was what they carried in their camelbacks and petrol stations.

    My wife and i are in..........The only time we will be able to say we did the comrades marathon. But we have only registered for the 21km.

    When i am talking elites, i was referring to our local elite ( sponsored ) cyclists. Not the world tour riders.

    Good gosh, that is fast. As i said before, these triathles are crazy fit humans. Even when they are doing cycle races they are in the mix with the elites.

    Henri schoeman ran a road race in Kzn earlier this year ( best of the best ) He was 3rd overall in the 10km with a time of 30.04 and that was against some elite road runners. Those triathletes are just on another level.
