  1. Oh you are flipping kidding me. I spent all my money already and have loads of stuff to shoot in the studio. This I don't need. So where can I get these mods done then?
  2. Team GB says given a hard lesson yesterday.
  3. I thought Niballi would take it. Still think he would have won if not for the crash. As to the curse of the rainbow jersey. It's not like there are huge expectations on Costa. I think in his new team if he is protected he can do very well. Clearly clever and hard as nails.
  4. Sagan had a very good result. The positioning of the climbs was always going to hurt the likes of him and FC.
  5. JRod has every right to miff, with himself. He stuffed that up. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Must have studied SA cricket. I admit to being disappointed, I've always liked JRod but Costa won that fair and square. Of course there is wheel sucking. It's not a TT.
  6. I thought the way the Italians drove on the front and ripped the race apart was pretty exciting.
  7. I like Rodriguez and sure he is upset but he was beaten fair and square. Needs to get over it. How much work did Rodriguez do in the first 250km? Anyway this is not a competition to see who works the hardest and sucks wheel the least. Some Italian would likely have won that. Not so good Team GB. Thought you guys knew about rain.
  8. Have not had a drop of alcohol in 8 years. Used to drink about 2 cases of beer a week. Decided I was over it. Never felt better. Don't miss it at all.
  9. I have done the ride to PMB from Joburg then do the Shove three years in a row. I always start out saying I'm going to take it easy and go low intensity. Never happened for me. Something always upsets that. Like the year before last it rained and we had howling headwinds from Mooiriver to PMB and arrived well after dark. to last year we got a bit behind with punctures and had to push it a bit. Last year I broke my rear derailleur cable 20km into the race and did the rest in my 11. That after the ride down just about killed me. Could barely stand afterwards. It will be an interesting experiment for you for sure. Just try to arrive in the start pen with something in the legs. I never did. Good luck. I loved the ride down but this year I am driving.
  10. V12 I am definitely going to take you up on your kind offer. I will pm you next week. The soap thing sounds interesting. Will give that a try. I am moderately happy with the fall ours I am getting out of my machine but not the frothing. The grinder is fantastic by my standards. I am waiting for the supplier to get some parts and I will then plumb my machine in.
  11. I am a bit obsessive about stuff. I wake up at 2 in the morning with a plan to make the morning coffee the absolute best. Then I am up at 5:30 ready for it and it is not as I hoped. I did the whole purge thing to get the temp correct and that was good but the milk frothing was a disgrace. Now I have asked a mate that is going to some coffee place to get me a timer. A thermometer and a measure. We will see. Bloody coffee Modifications to the oscar you say?
  12. I followed that link V12. Boom, three hours gone.
  13. Thanks V12. The links will be most appreciated. My wife is already amazed at how much better our morning coffee is tasting so I don't mind being patient. Just not being a patient. I used lavender oil. It sorted me out.
  14. Baaad as in flipping disgusting. Sorted it out now I think. It may not be bang on but it is better than what I was getting. It was mostly the grind I think. Got a reasonable flavor. The steaming is a disaster. This machine must be nuclear powered and on top of that the steam dial turns the opposite way to what I was expecting. Milk everywhere and burnt fingers
  15. Managed one slightly drinkable cup. Now to pack Going away till Tuesday so it will have to wait. I will crack it
  16. Now my troubles begin. Oscar in place and grinder all set up. Coffee is baaaaaad.
  17. Krupa grinder is really awful. I have had one for ages. It's tough I'll give it that. Noisy, slow, inconsistent. Just terrible.
  18. Three. Omelette with cheese usually. Scrambled sometimes also with cheese. Usually I few slices of tomato with olive oil to go with it. My normal porridge with coconut oil gets me too hungry too quickly for race day. I don't regard myself as carb intolerant at all. I just don't believe that is an excuse to abuse carbs.
  19. As I said. Eggs for breakfast on race days. And I am a carb eater.
  20. Soon as I get back from Clarence. Have just bought some Harrar. Freshly roasted. I think it's my favorite at the moment. Can't wait to give it a run through the new machine.
  21. Now that's passion htone. Respect.
  22. Interesting person Dave Zabrisky. He is also vegan, has his own colon irrigation machine all for health reasons yet he admitted to using PED's
  23. No silver. Not fussed really but my kitchen is mostly light with greys and silvers. Red would stand out like a dogs testical
  24. Just received a call to say my Simonelli Oscar and MDX grinder can be collected tomorrow. Yeeeeeehaaaa. Too bad I am doing a ride to Clarence starting Friday and won't be able to use it. Will be taking my Aeropress and hand grinder along. You won't believe the coffee in Frankfort. I think it is Frisco.
  25. Bicycles overpriced? Check out this camera http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/21/leaf-aptus-ii-12-snaps-80-megapixels-of-awesome-on-the-back-of-y/ Around R300k just for the back in South Africa. Bikes are cheap
