  1. Watched a few episodes. What a laugh!
  2. Anthem Advanced Pro 29 https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/showcase/anthemadvancedpro29
  3. Nice Sure you will enjoy that. What is this topcap? I mean is it different to any other one? And I can't find it on their website...
  4. Aren't those Safron frames made by a Saffa?
  5. I had a ride last week that didn't go through, so I emailed them with Garmin screenshots etc. They sent this as a reply: Thank you for your email regarding your workout points. Please provide us with the following information for us to investigate further: Garmin usernamedevice modelscreen shots from the fitness devices and apps page on Discovery Website showing that the device is linkedscreen shots from the partner side showing that you have granted Discovery permission to receive workout datadated screenshots for the missing workout. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused
  6. My photo of the headline is a bit outdated (forgot to upload it after seeing the paper), but I did follow the thread on Twitter: https://twitter.com/CTCycleLanes It just confirms my impression that the lane has slowly eroded away with formal bus stops, loading zones etc in addition to cars just parking in the lane with impunity. It hasn't really been usable as a bike lane for quite a while now. But in other news, the Constantiaberg area bike lanes are taking shape and looking good.
  7. Well, I guess it's official then
  8. Freddy Mercury for me
  9. American Classic Argent along with some 25mm GP 4000 S II - shaves 400g from the roadie. (now I need to return the favour and remove the same weight from myself)
  10. I saw the 2018 X1 (29'er) at CWC last week (not a great pic as it was hanging vertically) Alu frame with 1x11 XT drivetrain. I am still amazed that the bikes are for sale already (and seemingly exclusive to SA), but still very little info on the InterWebs. Maybe Iwan can shed some light on their launch date? Some better photos from Giant Cape Town https://www.facebook.com/giantcapetown/
  11. I recently finished Homeland, The Big Bang Theory and Big Little Lies in quick succession while Better Call Saul, The 100 and Into the Badlands are all about to finish. I started Prison Break last night - looks gripping as ever. I need to make Sneaky Pete, Fargo and Goliath last until Game of Thrones starts up again...
  12. With new Campy disc gruppo
  13. This trail was apparently built by the Kirstenbosch manager who is a keen biker himself
  14. He was the first guy to employ me when I had finished studying. My 1st Xmas bonus was an old set of MTB wheels he had in the corner. They saved me from changing switching between road and mtb tyres twice a week. In fact, he loaned me money to buy my first MTB - a Produx demo model
  15. someone with too many Colnagos
  16. This is better
  17. Not sure how I feel about this photo

  19. Wilier Cento10AIR - Ramato http://www.roadbikereview.com/reviews/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Wilier-Cento10AIR-ramato.jpg The Ramato Cento10AIRs are liveried in homage to Wilier’s pioneering use of chrome plated painting that started in 1947 on the original lugged steel Ramato. Back then the original Ramatos were the first to use galvanizing in the bicycle industry and were finished with a clear coat as well as hand painted gold logos. We first saw this look last year on the retro modern lugged Superleggera (above left and right), which the new Giro edition Centos are meant to evoke

  21. I got one of these from Rapide: http://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-controlstick-750c-carbon-flat-bars/ Not as glamorous at Csixx or Funn, but much cheaper cost effective. The are also flippable, giving 5mm drop rather than a rise which is what I really wanted. http://www.rapide.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Rapide-ControlStick-750c-450x450.jpg
  22. https://cyclingtips.com/2017/05/bikes-bunch-vanilla-bicycles-custom-speedvagen/ Spent a lot of time here this morning http://www.thevanillaworkshop.com/speedvagen-road/
  23. I should have qualified my comment. I meant Stages for road, where 172.5mm is more common than 175mm.
