  1. I guessed R180k, but he chuckled and pointed upwards a few times. An online bike build topped out at about $15k Apart from the F8 frame, it has Campy SR EPS, Enve rims with CK hubs, Enve stem with Fizik carbon bars & saddle and Garmin Vector pedals.
  2. Saw this yesterday (The price was mind boggling)

  9. FSA is getting into the mix as well: http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/news/article/fsa-unveils-prototype-gravity-dropper-seapost-45152/ The FSA dropper will come in 100 and 125mm version in both 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. It incorporates FSA’s existing two-bolt saddle rail clamp and uses a rebuildable cartridge system and a cable-actuated lever. It is expected to retail for $299 http://cdn.mos.bikeradar.imdserve.com/images/news/2015/09/01/1441144336991-2o34ukkukhif-700-80.jpg http://cdn.mos.bikeradar.imdserve.com/images/news/2015/09/01/1441144620990-1s1kgjahyjxud-700-80.jpg http://cdn.mos.bikeradar.imdserve.com/images/news/2015/09/01/1441144827175-awd5kp82vm9y-700-80.jpg
  10. Was the fining blitz a one time thing, or will that be a continued campaign until people learn not to park in that green bike lane? Its been a while since I last rode home from work via Woodstock, so it was interesting to note how many cars park along that stretch. From Lower Church St to the circle, there was one car in the lane. From the circle to the lights before the bakery, it was bumper to bumper. Trying to dodge parked cars is hazardous on a road bike with those big bumps/cats eyes that demarcate the bike lane.

  14. I am glad its done. After the first season, I felt duty bound to watch this one to the end. I found it slow and took ages to get going with too many sub plots and characters and then it ended too quickly.

  17. I head through the Foreshore, past the Convention Centre and into the Waterfront when I ride to Sea Point.
  18. I rode through there for the first time since they painted the lanes. They were actually still painting closer to the circle. Before the circle, there was one parked car. Cars were parked bumper to bumper after the circle.

  23. The episode spent a lot of time introducing the characters and setting up some story lines. I am not really sure if I know what the big central crime is... Season 1 really good, so Season 2 has big shoes to fill.
