  1. +1 Its not how fast you go, but how good you look going slow. The weather predictions look good. Deep sections all the way.
  2. More of that red 695
  3. Olympic started stocking them recently too
  4. Try this one: http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/first-bb-30-reducer-wb-906
  5. I had RP Rydon's with photochromic clear lenses and thought that they were great, but perhaps on the small side for my large dial. I then got the Genetyk's also with clear photochromic lenses hoping that they were bigger. They were bigger, but I still get watery eyes on long fast descents. They are great for the early morning rides and mountain bike rides, but to agree with Covie, they dont really go dark enough during the day. So that leaves me lusting for some Jawbones with photochromic lenses for early mornings and mtb with some polarised lenses for longer road rides. I think they will sit better on my face and keep the wind out of my eyes. Anyone wanna buy my Genetyk's?

  7. Their geometry is quite different Make your choice based on that rather. Get an Ergofit measurement done - that gives you optimum frame geometry (based on horiz top tube). I bought my Giant TCR Adv frame based on that. Love it!
  8. Cape Town sold out already! And I missed out!
  9. Beautiful
  10. The Pavilion, V&A Waterfront Tickets on sale from today @ Webtickets
  11. Burry has worn that kit before, hasnt he? Why is that suddenly an issue? And, I seriously doubt that it's Kevin lodging the complaint...

  15. How did the bike go in Stellies?
  16. I got my timing wrong, so missed our start. Went with F/G instead of E. Still got dropped on Hels. Almost vomited. Managed to regroup on the other side (my specialty). Put in quite a bit of work taking turns up front.picked up several Aca Joe bunch riders. Ran out of water @ Spier & then cramped on the first Annandale hill. Managed to get back on the group, but probably finished last out of our alphabet soup bunch. Dist: 97.3km. Time: about 2:42. Avg speed 36km/h. Avg HR: 159bpm. Good training!
  17. I just saw one of these frames with the new Campy EPS @ Cyclelab in Westlake.
  18. I was waiting for that I dont think Bianchi were thinking about Campy when they made this frame with BB30...
  19. Oh, and more important: What does that bambino weigh?

  21. Choice is a bit limited... SRAM Quarq S975 GXP Power Meter Cranks - 177.5 50/34 - R12,669.00 BUYCYCLE
  22. I understand that the through axle helps with stiffness. But I dont understand why you would have it at the back, and not the fork...
  23. From the Bikerumour site: 'The Sparks all use a 142x12 rear thru-axle which is nice, but oddly matched to the 9mm QR only on the forks' I think Specialized does this on their Epic 29's as well. Giant has QR rear, but QR15 front. I was wondering which makes more sense from a ride and practicality point of view?
