  1. Yoh! Not sure if most people realise that Greg is from South Africa.
  2. Just realised our map is a bit out of date so don't use it! Trying to get latest one uploaded ASAP.
  3. Trails have been re-routed with some new options last week so all signage should be good. You can view the trail map on our website here
  4. A good read for anyone who'd looking to do it in the future. Some of those comments in there are gold Philip!
  5. NEVER! And you can quote me on that in 2025
  6. Ahhhh! Voodoo Lounge still there (Karkloof) by the looks of it? Love that trail!!
  7. I'll be riding this trail in Italy(maybe not *quite* as fast!), come Sunday and for the next 2 weeks the trails that are home to Fabien Barel and The Alien... I can't freak'n wait!
  8. Why have I never heard of Lyne?? Looks like a rad compnay and will be great to support a SA bike brand if their products are good!
  9. Great report and well done on all that the committee has done
  10. This has got me really excited for our mtb trip to Molini de Triora in July. Different area of Italy but apparently some of the best natural trail riding in the world!
  11. Yoh! What incredible imagery! Makes my heart sing to hear that people having taken the risk to offer heli-biking in SA Hubbers, support these guys so their business becomes sustainable. Call up your friends, show them the photo's, start planning and get it done!
  12. Any chance these crits are going to be open to non-school boys/girls one day?
  13. Who needs a bottle opener? There are a million more interesting ways to open beer!
  14. Had the pleasure of helping out with this production and hanging out with the crew. I must say, Greg is the ultimate SA ambassador and a true gentlemen whilst being one of the best riders on the planet. Some fun (and stressful) times were had getting these shots!
  15. That is how to get amped for riding! Never had a video that makes me want to go ride in the mud, slosh and snot like that!
  16. Yes there were a few more articles but I believe these are the best shoots according to the photographer (Ewald).
  17. I highly recommend going for a visit. Eckhardt is busy building new trails all the time but what is there now, is already a great day out on the bike!
  18. Beer4recovery, Harry bought his YT when he was in the UK. Very happy with it though! The Cape really is incredible with all the trails popping up but I'll also give credit to Ewald Sadie who's photos make our trails (and riding) look so great!
  19. Headshot, basically it started out as a 'mates race' then everyone got so excited by it that they invited their mates! Don't take it personally. We did not host it is an event anyway, there was a donation fee of R300 and ALL proceeds went towards the school farm. It was run as an invitational just to keep the field small so we could make sure everything ran smoothly without it costing an arm and a leg. Keep your ear to the ground and I'm sure you'll get to the next one.
  20. Oh and for those interested to see the results and separate stage times, you can check them here -> http://www.irideafrica.com/ezelenduro2015results/
  21. Great to hear Nico! A few guys have reported back with the same kind of thinking. Glad to inspire!
  22. Invite only format kept the field small and safe. Trails were superduper gnarly so we didn't want to have riders there with unknown skills. Sorry you were not invited but you can blame your friends for not doing so!
