  9. I am also 1.78 and have been riding M frames for ages . Recently I test rode a L framed bike that I worked on and was very comfortable on it . Just saying. Maybe do the same before you miss out on that Niner
  10. Is Sauser’s cycling project still going in Kyamandi/Stellenbosch ? surely there must be some intel about who is buying ? Like the Scalpel that was taken last week not an easy bike to hide
  11. Thank you for all the useful input . @MORNE I think you put your finger on the nail the bar is now 20 mm higher which explains the very different feel
  12. I bought a DTSwiss fork F 232 on Bikehub to fit on my own Tallboy . Reason been wanted a bit longer steerer tube and save weight . Fitted the fork and was disappointed as now the front was very skittish. Then did my homework and saw that those forks come in 44mm and 51 mm offset . I suspect that I bought the 44mm version. Two questions: does that difference in offset really make that big difference in steering feel ? and To counter that is a longer stem the way to go ? Admit that I must still set up the fork properly. thanks
  13. And a helmet
  14. Hy is behoorlik die moer in
  15. This . Cut the steerer halfway and insert and glue in die middle
  16. Spoke to a farmer on the Floriskraal road this morning. No locked gates at the moment . Some signs to say you need permission to go through . Just to discourage unwanted “ travelers “ . It is a public road . I advised @ollyinnes
  17. Both Weltevrede road and Magrieta Prinsloo have dead ends …unless you do some difficult bundu bashing . The way to go is out on the tar road then left . Last time I was there about 22 gates . Due to sheep theft some farmers are locking gates though it is a public road . Wapp me I will get the number of a farmer on that road . Arno zero83three959zero38
