Looking to source for a commuter who was gifted a KHS folding bike by his employers. With no taxis in Prince Albert a bicycle to cycle to work and back is a prized possession but is worthless without tyres and tubes . Changing to 16” or 20” won’t work due the bike having rim brakes .

Yes mid March can still be very hot . Bigger problem is fence and gate a few Kim’s before or after Die Leer depending which way you going . The owners of private properties have erected a high fence and locked gate . The only way through is to book a night at their accommodation. They will then provide you with a code . I suspect the majority of Hubbers are too young ( or were not born yet ) to remember the fuel crisis in about 1974 . The max speed limit on highways was limited to 80 kph and it was fiercely policed ( by a different Government granted) with fines up to confiscating the offending vehicle . It worked ..we were all @#$& scared to exceed the limit . That is the core of the current problem . No one is scared.
