Bahrain and Vietnam postponed. Season is now only expected to start in Europe at the end of May. Nothing said about the Dutch and Spanish GP in the beginning of May?
  3. Ok, might be a dof question. Once you have successfully loaded the ExpressVPN onto your MiBox, will Netflix automatically be open to the international/US version, or will you need to reload it or something?
  4. Thought it was only a matter of time before Leatt launched a shoe range. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/leatt-step-into-the-shoe-market-with-options-for-clips-and-flats.html Review on the flats https://www.pinkbike.com/news/review-leatt-dbx-30-flat-shoes.html

  6. They are awesome. Although they won a Grammy for this album, their Lost in the Dream album was even better imo.

With so little changes to the regs from last year, there wasn't going to be any revolutionary changes to the cars (let's see what the rest of the cars look like though. They have gone for a more maximum downforce approach this year, so mostly changes to the aero https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/new-ferrari-sf1000-tech-analysis/4683761/
  8. That was the reason I opted for the local initially. However, during my procedure I started stressing a bit and getting anxious. According to the doctor, when your adrenaline starts pumping, the anesthetics wear off quicker, so half way I started feeling the cutting and a bit of pain and he had to readminister the anesthetics. Apparently I had nearly double the normal amount in the end. If I had known about taking a tranquilizer before, I would have! So if you're harder than me and it doesn't bother you and you won't stress during the procedure, go for local
  9. This. Also wife gets to go off bc, which has other benefits...
  10. Agree. I think I was off the bike for about the same time (maybe a little longer because I didn't want to take the chance). So wouldn't do it before a big event.
  11. Then go for the general anesthetic option. I had the choice of a general or local anesthetic, and went for the local. Really regret it. Otherwise not bad, a couple of days of discomfort, that was about it.
  12. Wow, the mansplaining on here.... guys basically saying when a women should feel assaulted and not.
  13. So yesterdays run they only managed to get to 491mph, but they did manage to get 501mph (806kph) this afternoon, with a successful double parachute test. Big achievement by the team and a major milestone achieved. Yesterdays run. 1min 33 mark! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrerP1ae6A4
  14. 500mph (800kph+) test run successfully achieved this morning.
  15. Verneuk Pan was one of the options Bloodhound initially looked at, but apparently the pan is not in such good condition anymore. Despite having to remove tonnes of rock and stones, Hakskeen Pan was perfect. Hakskeen Pan is also holding up very nicely after the testing runs. Interesting, once the pan floods, it almost completely repairs itself, and those scars shouldn't be seen next year. Pic below of the pan surface after a test run
  16. They are still going to try get to 800kph (unfortunately car damage, strong winds and the RWC Final has delayed that a bit) during this testing. They are back at it today, so holding thumbs. That car is extremely impressive to watch when it's at full power. The sound is unbelievable! Below is a pic of the track (16km long at the moment with still an extra 4kms to be prepared for the record attempt, and flat! Less than 60cm elevation change between the two ends). The lines are obviously for Andy to keep the car in a straight line, as there are no other visual references on the pan
  17. Bloodhound LSR currently testing at Hakskeen Pan
  18. Flip man, had a bad wash out a while back with my previous tyres (stock Bonrager XR3), so decided to put a DHF on thinking it would help with grip and bring back some cornering confidence. I swear, it almost feels worse. I don't think I ride aggressive enough to get the most out of the DHFs. On that note, how is the DHF for a rear tyre? Considering moving the DHF to the rear and getting a DHR2 or even Assegai for the front.
  19. Quick question when referring to the "death gap" on the DHF. Is that the transition from centre knobs to side knobs when leaning over where there is a lack of grip, feels like the tyre is going to wash out? If so, I get that feeling with my DHF.

Ferrari confirmed it was a hybrid issue, and due to safety reasons, Vettel was instructed to stop as soon as possible, and not try make it back to the pits

Ferrari do tend to score own goals. But I do get Leclerc's frustration. He was screwed out of the win last week by the team (which he accepted later), and yesterday there was an agreement to give Vettel the tow to get ahead of Hamilton (not to jump him to). If he was not playing the team game, he would have defended the corner against Vettel. And the only reason Vettel had the pace to pull away from him was because he had a clear track in front of him.
