  15. Don't know But it reads like one of those ANCYL press releases... I'm guessing they ran/running out of cash. CSA should be disbanded/started from scratch anyway in my opinion.
  16. Whereabouts in pta east do you start and where do you ride?
  17. Ironman and Cape Epic medals, hell yeah. Will also keep the ultra marathhon mtb stuff i suffered through. The rest, not thanks. have hundreds around in boxes in the garage..
  18. My sentiments exactly.... I was resident in Sweden for 18 months.... Once you see how things should be done you realize how sick SA really is. Don't really have much hope for SA to be honest. And I get peeved at people that go on about how wonderfull SA is and that people should not be pessimistic.... etc OPEN YOU EYES ! We will not be able to/ want te be living here in another 2 generations time. Seems like lots of people don't want to face facts. Fast forward 50 years. SA is getting more "african" by the day, and when you look at it objectivily we are nothing more than another third world banana republic ( Althoug one with a good but rapidly deteriorating infrastructure). If you don't believe me, have a look at the Global competiveness Report: http://www.polity.org.za/article/the-global-competitiveness-report-2010-2011-september-2010-2010-09-09 Some hightlights to be proud off: • Quality of the education system - 130th out of 139 • Quality of primary education - 125th out of 139 • Quality of math and science education - 137th out of 139 · Hiv prevalence - 136th out of 139 · Life expectancy - 127th out of 139 · Infant mortality - 109th out of 139 and ranks worse and worse every year.... there is a trend ! And the education is exacly where to problem is, the damage done is beyond repair. We are sitting with millions of uneducated youth and a very small ( and unwanted) number of people to support them. A country simply can't move forward with problems like these. Unfortuanetely it is a snowball effect and I believe the oppurtunity to fix things have now passed. I am planning my future according to common sense, which means I make sure I will have the means to pack by bags and get out of here if I need to. If things turn out well for SA, GREAT, I love SA and would like to stay here. I am a very logical type of person though and do not want to get caught offguard.
  19. Another jewel: news24 Lichtenburg - The ancestors will turn against those leaving the ANC, President Jacob Zuma said on Thursday. "The ancestors will turn their backs against you and you will be bad luck forever if you leave the ANC unhappy," he said in Phola, outside Lichtenburg.
  20. In that case democracy is a flawed system . There I said it.... You need some basic level of intelligence and knowledge to make informed decisions such as who should run a country.
  21. While you ignore him, there are 15 million unemployed, uneducated youths taking him seriously and in all probability making him the next president in 10 years or so. If thats ever the case, i pack my bags. Democracy does not work if the majority is not capable of logical thought. Our goverment and leaders are completely and utterly morally corrupt - yet they get voted into power again and again. and it will continue to be like that.... Even if by some miracle anybody else gets the chance to fix the chaos caused, there is no way ANC will hand over power. People who think SA is democratic live in a dream world. We are only democratic as long as the ANC wins.
  22. I think a large part of the ANC electorate don't really get democracy . They think you have to "pick" the winner or something. Sounds strange, but it is true....
