  1. let's get back to feedback on SQUIRT tyre sealant....
  2. also drive slower...makes a HUGE difference with bikes on the roof..
  3. unfortunately the rain starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday afternoon , with the worst of it coming on Saturday🥴
  4. never going to happen and cycling that road is truly scary...rather go over Boyes Dr
  5. all open now , W2W does not come through Greyton
  6. no problem whatsoever..
  7. only online but they have an excellent free returns policy...
  8. the Decathlon stuff is getting better and better and their range in SA is expanding monthly ....I bought a lot of their running and cycling clothing when I lived overseas and was amazed at the quality and technical design and features.. the local range available is still limited but the value is unbeatable and they have an excellent return policy
  9. Epic Evo Expert ....and leave on the wheels it comes with, really excellent!
  10. Giant Revolt 100%....won lots of awards too and there are only positive reviews about it...
  11. BTW a Large Giant TCR has a 58cm top tube...you are referring to 53cm seat tube but all the other postings in this thread are about top tube which is the way road frames are measured nowadays I am 178cm and rode a Giant M\L which has a 56,5cm top tube... Since a lot of modern frames are very sloping [thank you Giant] the seat tube measurement means very little...reach and top tube is everything
  12. I absolutely concur with bike fitting being a complete waste of money except perhaps for a complete novice...
  13. this is also true...
  14. the point here is I doubt a 183cm rider would ride a 54cm....
  15. and a lot cheaper than the Specialized SWAT stuff too....😀 the zip though on that box worries me...they get broken very quickly in my experience...
  16. get a Tubolito spare tube [really tiny] and a mini-pump from Takealot. take some tyre plugs, a small patch of hard plastic or old piece of tyre to patch large cuts from the inside when inserting the tube so it doesn't bulge out spare valve and valve tool small flat multi bike tool with chain breaker spare chain quick link https://www.takealot.com/portable-mini-bike-hand-pump-set/PLID61094643 The pump is tiny and takes a bit to pump up an MTB tyre but its for emergencies only I fit all the above in a Specialized SWAT box no problem as in the pic another member posted
  17. I have had 2 of those and they fall apart very quickly...rather get the plastic bottle type container...you can get some fairly long ones
  18. you most definitely need a 56cm unless you have relatively short legs and arms for your height I am 178cm with an 87cm inseam and ride a 56...cannot imagine riding anything smaller
  19. yup....really easy to fly considering I have never owned a drone before and only got the Avata 2 weeks ago...
