  14. biggest difference for me on an MTB with an oval 32T is when doing a steep technical climb on loose terrain the power is transmitted more linearly and there is far less loss of traction...try it to see
  15. Evoc for multiple trips...cardboard box for single trip...[can be made quite small if you trim and pack carefully since it is just for the one trip.]
  16. ah ok sorry, op was talking about a shock… regarding other dropper levers on the x- fusion dropper I have tried other levers but the actuation return spring on the Manic is very weak and really should only be used with the X-fusion spring assisted lever
  17. The X-fusion lockout lever is spring loaded since the spring on the seatpost actuation mechanism is not very strong...so I do not think you can use any free floating 3rd party levers

  19. A lady in our cycling group here in Greyton got bitten by a Cape cobra this morning at 11am while cycling with her daughter [that she had in a carrier on the bike] in the forest. She came round a corner and the cobra hooded and launched itself at the bike to strike and coiled itself around the seatpost. She dropped the bike and the snake eventually got away...but she was bitten on the ankle. Made her way to Caledon hospital and I believe they kept her under observation but nothing bad happened as far as I know...news are still a little sketchy but still quite alarming to say the least
  20. when I still lived in Muizenberg I would drive to Simonstown shopping centre and ride from there, into Cape Point nature reserve, do some nice loops and back...I refused to ride anywhere near Kalk Bay, Boyes Dr, Fish Hoek...just too scary and unpleasant...
  21. lots of gravel options here in Greyton..
  22. let's get back to feedback on SQUIRT tyre sealant....
