Good morning, Hubbers. Being the cheapskate I am, I opted for the Magene radar tail light instead of the tried and tested and readily available Garmin Varia. I detached my Magene supplied quarter turn seat post mount and promptly misplaced it. I then thought the Garmin and Magene seat post mounts would be the same, but just my luck (insert rage meme), they are not (the design of the tail light quarter turn tabs are different, 90 degrees apart). So, any advice where to get hold of the correct seat post mount? I contacted Senbono, the official distributor of the Magene product, and even they don't know when they will get stock of seat post mounts. I see a brand called KOM Cycling make a seat post mount for this radar and other products, very interesting concept. I've spotted another design that attaches to the rails of your saddle, but these things are going for R1000 in the Classifieds, which I think is rather steep.. Thanks all.

I love these little TV boxes. Why buy a smart TV at all? I've had the Gen 1 for years, started giving a few issues, and spotted the Gen 2 for a giveaway price.

This is not something you'd easily see on a bicycling forum, but there's a first time for everything. I learnt to play the piano when I was but a young boy, and got it pretty far right up until Matric. University stepped in, and the music stepped out. I never picked it up again since then, due to the fact that pianos can be rather pricey, and they take up quite a bit of space. Fast forward to 2023, moving into a larger house, and being a baby boy richer, I decided now is a good time to seriously consider buying one and "restarting". After much FB Marketplace trawling, I found this one in Germiston, and decided to pull the plug and bring it home. I'm hoping that the instrument will start my son's love for music, and if it doesn't, it's there for mom and dad to play.

OK, so I learnt of something called My Family Cinema the other day. Apparently, an amalgam of pretty much all the major streaming services at a fraction of the price. It sounds mega dodge, but naturally it's enticing. Who has it? Can I use it on my MIBOX?

One doesn't always have to connect to the VPN first. If you open up GCN+ in your browser and it reads your South African IP, it might block some races. If you open up your VPN and select the appropraite country and refresh the GCN+ website, then voila, it'll pick up the race that was geolocked! I use a MIBOX, as well. GCN app on there as well as my VPN. Same procedure. Android phone, too. Same procedure.

I'm thinking of going for the K3. It will have multiple uses, not bicycle exclusive. I've seen plenty of YT videos and read countless articles warning where not to point the washer when you're cleaning your bike. I see even Michelin sells a few pressure washers. Who is next, Goodyear?
