  3. Remember one thing - you become very good at what you do over and over. So, that worker becomes good at riding a heavy bike, in one gear, slowly. It does not mean however he may not show other endurance potential.

  6. I'm fortunate to have the pro strap. But I know from a recent update, one doesn't need the strap anymore to give a power number.
  7. Hi to all running Hubbers! I managed to get hold of a treadmill for a steal, so now I have the opportunity to use the treadmill and run on Zwift as well. I'm aware that one requires a running pod/cadence meter of some sorts to use zwift, but I just learned that some of the higher end Forerunner watches work as a cadence sensor too. The website mentions 3 compatible watches. I refer specifically to the 945 model. I have the 955 model. So I'm wondering whether my more recent model will work. TIA
  8. I stayed inside that day LOL
  9. This function sucks. The bike can be stationery and the alarm still goes off. And it's so soft on the phone that the bike will be long gone before you've realised the alarm went off.
  10. I just thought the exact same thing. But, you could use the two tools in conjunction to make sure you're down to the tenth of a mm.
  11. https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/giro-d-italia/1990/gc/stages/winners Some chap called Gianni Bugno. Also twice men's elite RR champ, 2 classics and a second at '91 Tour. I'd say he can ride a bike.
  12. 2 weeks to go!

  15. It's clear that it's not about the bike.
  16. Rockrider MTBs are internationall represented,I read an article somewhere of I think a French woman that won a race on a Rockrider.
  17. Hot bike. Is that the TCR ADV 0 or 1?
  18. I believe he said afterwards this is in prep for IM, just because the level of the competitors out there is so high. It's clear what his goal is. So, this shows us it can all be done, it just depends how eager you are to achieve your goal.
  19. Interesting. I'd have never thought to keep track of my disc brake width. By when is it end-of-life?
  20. Quick answer? No. But, get hold of a chain ASAP. Also, inspect the condition of your cassette too. I don't buy the "replace the chain along with the cassette" BS. I've never done that before, and shifting has never been an issue. The cassette will outlast your chain, perhaps 3 chains. THAT SAID - it depends on how clean you keep your stuff. Haven't cleaned either thoroughly in some time? Eish. Post photos of your cassette.
  21. I got emil feedback from him about the HRM. Yes, unfortunately, to participate in the study we would need you to have and use a Polar H10 HR monitor. This doesn’t mean that Polar is necessarily any better than others, but the H10 strap allows us to record RR-interval data and to minimize the error in HRV recording we decided to keep the type of HR monitor consistent. But we had a lot of interest in the study and have already reached our recruitment numbers. If it is okay with you, can I log your contact information and reach out when we need participants for future studies? At this point we have tentative plans to conduct a similar project around November and it would be great to have some fit athletes like yourself 🤥 to contact.
  22. I've never heard of efficiency mode before? Can you take a screenshot of the error?
  23. Just putting this here for those who might be interested in this study. https://zwiftinsider.com/calgary-remote-cycling-study/ Id like to tak part, but I don't own a Polar H10 HRM.
