Ha ha, chill out everyone. I'm just grumpy because a Brit will never ever win Wimbledon. They are good value but the build quality just doesn't seem to be on par with some of the other brands. I have ridden one and didn't enjoy the feel. A mate also cracked one while pedalling along some district road. Each to their own.

I got the 819s built onto Hope Pro II hubs (red) by CRC. About 3k and are really sweet.

This is what the monster looked like.

I witnessed this with my own eyes yesterday: It was on the Spruit, Paulshof side. I was approaching a group of 3 riders from behind who were minding their own business. Suddenly and without warning, the lead rider was savagely attacked! The angry Guinea Fowl came out of nowhere and went straight for the jugular. We as humans have no natural defence against a Guinea Fowl attack except to flail our arms about wildly. Thankfully the demented fowl desisted and went back to leading her chicks along the single-track. No serious injuries (besides a severely battered ego) but it could have been so much worse. Just be careful everyone, it's a jungle out there.

The ZTR Olympics are tubeless but they don't seem to be on the CRC option list?

Yeah, I saw the Stans 355s. These are not tubeless however and so I would have to spend extra cash on a stupid conversion kit (which would also add a bit of weight). Why is everyone against factory built wheels?
