  1. Those coming down should bunny-hop over those going up.
  2. Those other kids are screwed.
  3. Got my Air 9 through Morningside Cycles.
  4. Oh, and that last bump called "Pain" - well just wait and see.
  5. Yeah, did it last year. It was around 800m of ascent in the 1st 14km of stage 1. Tough race, but a good one.
  6. That's a great deal!
  7. To counsel all his old bikes, so that they don't feel so rejected.
  8. Santa, you are a serious bike-whore. I know a good shrink...
  9. I'm also doing this one. Is it always wet? That sucks.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Were 29ers invented yesterday then?
  11. I suppose. But either way: you gonna get screwed.
  12. No worries, my serial number is safely at the Niner database. I'm not telling you guys because every single one of you is dodgy. You will use my serial number to access my credit card and I'll end up in a mexican jail with a huge guy called Jose.
  13. Well spotted Mark! Did I miss a spot when I re-sprayed it?
  14. Haha, I can't afford a new couch because I bought the bike. The GF is less than impressed.
  15. Waiting on the 2011 SRAM X0. Looks awesome.
  16. So I finally got my **** together: She should be ready to ride in around 2 weeks time. I can't wait!
  17. And screw you, my tennis is world-class. My cycling? Well...
  18. If I didn't get paid for my overtime I wouldn't be able to afford the Marmite for my toast in the mornings (or the Air 9 I just bought B) ). Close to half my monthly salary is overtime, if I don't slave away, I starve. 1000 up, nice going there Cassie you Hub nerd you.
  19. Careful now Covie I hope that by a "couple of years" you mean a minimum of 6 gruelling years at medical school and then 2 years of internship as well as a year (soon to be 2) of community service out in some hell-hole hospital. Have you ever been on call for 36 straight hours? I don't mean sitting at a desk, I mean running up and down dealing with critical patients in casualty or in OR. Besides my standard 40 hour work week, I work an average of 120 over-time hours per month. This equates to around 6 or 7 24hr periods per month where I don't even see the inside of my own home. And like you, I am also having to find the time to further my studies. In fact, I have exams starting on Tuesday. But according to you, I'm overpaid?
  20. I got a day off work today. Not because I'm on strike though. On arriving at the hospital I was met by a bunch of stick-wielding gents with red t-shirts on. They seemed angry. No medical staff were allowed into or out of the hospital. The entire hospital shut down. Nothing like causing a few deaths to make the government give you what you want.
  21. Ha ha Right you are Eldron
  22. It was a joke mate, really.
  23. Ah LeTurbo... And just when I was getting over my hatred of the french. I do sense a hint of that excellent sarcasm of yours even in this post. A hearty congratulations. I suspect however that the only flogging you have done of late was on your lady-friend after a few too many pints at the local. Don't worry, I won't deny you your sport. I'm done now. If even one Hubber is more careful when purchasing here due to reading this thread then I'll deem it a success. I am so sorry to have upset you. Good luck with your GLIs (Genital Lice Infestations). Wink, wink.
  24. Your Mom owns one of those heavy-duty scales doesn't she?
  25. And that fence is not exactly un-scaleable.
