Hey man, the plate removal is a walk in the park compared to the original op. Not many orthos who would **** it up. You do have to get it ou though - another fall on that arm and you could end up with a metal plate in your lung or worse. I work with a few orthos - Milpark, Union, Morningside and have never seen anyone bugger up a plate removal.

Really tough, I think the conditions added about an hour ride time. Managed to win the race with Spaso9 in about 4h40. Loved the wolf sanctuary, I started howling as I rode through and they all joined in!

Was on the Spruit on Sunday. It's ridiculously muddy.

Dry your eyes. I'm in a hospital from hell and I'm here until 8AM tomorrow. 12.5 hours to go... I did manage to ride this morning though, proper mudfest on the Spruit. Sabie looks like it's gonna be the same.

Okay, so this Tinker guy comes over and basically wins every prize at the 24Hr at Rietvlei. Amazing cyclist and apparently a good dude. They did forget to give him one of his prizes though: THE SUPER BEST-LOOKING MOUNTAIN-BIKER IN THE WORLD EVER Congratulations!
