  4. Surely its no prob if you remain seated for the entire performance.
  5. Does anyone have any tips on making an IDT and quieter. I have a Rav-X trainer and the buzz that the thing makes is deafening?? Any tips??
  6. I bought it yesterday. Everytime i buy it, i ask myself why because it really is rubbish. Its only good for bling, which in this issue is lacking too.
  7. Shame, I think we came past just after he crashed. There was friends or family with him, we couldn't help so we rode on and when we came back past he was still there on a back board, with neck braced etc.
  8. Recently pimped my fork when i built my new MTB. Was advised by the guys from the LBS and the agents they use to service the fork NOT to powdercoat the fork. The baking process could cause damage to the thin metals used. It seemed logical to me, so i decided not to risk it and went for a spray paint job which came out really nice.
  9. I am doing it. Looking forward to it.
  10. Why does this poephol not just make himself win the lotto and retire.
  11. Awesome training. I use mine a few times a week winter. I agree with the sales person, they chew through tyres. Saw a tip in the Bicycling mag about using insulation tape over your wheel. Not sure it if it works but if it saves the cost of spare wheel, cluster, and tyre its worth a try.
  12. Been asking myself the same question for ages, and it appears that the answer is wheels. I have a RC3000 with Shimano Wheels, and my budget can afford Mavic Aksium or Campy Vento which of these would be better, ar would these not be worth it. Sorry to Hijack your post dude.
  13. I was also there yesterday for the first time since doing the teak trek back in april last year. Fantastic ride, awesome trails and really well marked.
  14. As winter is approaching and the morning are getting darker i am going to have to start using an indoor trainer. can anyone offer training programs they have used with an IDT. I would like to have some sort of goal / objective rather than just getting on and riding.
  15. Yes in future ill be sure to race to work, get here before anyone else then waste my time sitting on the hub.

  17. Surely if the bike is secured on the hanger, and tied down so it cant swing around there should not be a problem. If the bike cant move, whats the difference between the rack and a wall hanger.
  18. Please help with some advice. On longer rides i tend to get an intense pain between my shoulder blades. I believe this is related to the stem, length and angle. In addition to changing the stem, is there any exercise you can do to help.
  19. You didn't do to well in trying to hide the brand there.
  20. I asked if there was a way to stop receiving these calls cause i get them often, particularly from cell providers. I was told you can sms your ID no to 34385 to opt out.

  23. Is that the way to go. To roll the bike forward, measure the distance of the rotation and input that as the wheel size??
  24. Is anyone using a Polar CS300 what can help with wheel settings. I am using the 2070mm setting as per the manual for my 700x23 road tyre and it seems to be under reading. I got 98 kms for the 103kms fast one. Any ideas???
