  2. This makes me sad. I lost out on that frame.
  3. My garden is flooded.
  4. Chopping 47min off of last years 94.7 time, as well as a sub 3 at the dome to dome.
  5. Oh my soul. I don't think i have been a good enough boy for Santa to put one of those under my tree.
  6. I personally think that you need to be aware. Cajees, as with any business are in business to make a profit. Sure they may be expensive, but the are always negotiable. I knocked 50% off the price of a carbon frame there recently. As i said, be aware. Know what you want, and what it should cost.
  7. Cycle Lab have the edge500 on Sale R2899
  8. Eagle Canyon Cycles 011-795-4022
  9. Pretty much sums it up.
  10. It was chaos. I got nailed, many of the people from our club got nailed. I saw some guys with 5 stuffed tubes around there shoulders waiting a for a pick up.
  11. So who all was affected by the drawing pins that were painted black so they could not be seen and thrown all over the roads in the cradle.
  12. I thought so. Just thought it best to check.
  13. Got a 400mm carbon post which is too long for the frame. Can i cut it to 350mm??
  14. Incredible. What an experience.
  15. Fitting a BB into a new frame. Can i just apply a regular grease to the inside of the frame before fitting the BB or is there a special grease for this.
  16. Surely its no prob if you remain seated for the entire performance.
  17. Does anyone have any tips on making an IDT and quieter. I have a Rav-X trainer and the buzz that the thing makes is deafening?? Any tips??
  18. I bought it yesterday. Everytime i buy it, i ask myself why because it really is rubbish. Its only good for bling, which in this issue is lacking too.
  19. Shame, I think we came past just after he crashed. There was friends or family with him, we couldn't help so we rode on and when we came back past he was still there on a back board, with neck braced etc.
  20. Recently pimped my fork when i built my new MTB. Was advised by the guys from the LBS and the agents they use to service the fork NOT to powdercoat the fork. The baking process could cause damage to the thin metals used. It seemed logical to me, so i decided not to risk it and went for a spray paint job which came out really nice.
  21. I am doing it. Looking forward to it.
  22. Why does this poephol not just make himself win the lotto and retire.
  23. Awesome training. I use mine a few times a week winter. I agree with the sales person, they chew through tyres. Saw a tip in the Bicycling mag about using insulation tape over your wheel. Not sure it if it works but if it saves the cost of spare wheel, cluster, and tyre its worth a try.
