Does the entry fee include accommodation and meals
Our entry included everything except additional drinks. Absolutely awesome event. I loved it
No dodgy cane trucks , mills closed
I think the race organiser was warned, I am wondering if they made the effort to inform riders that the race was not sanctioned and CSA was going to fine Licensed riders that took part. imo the race organiser should pay the fines.shame on her. As a licensed rider she should know the rules. Typical poor south african attitude
A quote from a post by Pure Savage on another thread before the race.
What BS, CSA can suck a bag. I would love to see them actually do their job and cross reference riders who do Karoo to Coast to their own data base. As event not sanctioned event not going to send them a handy Excel spread sheet. Ain’t gonna happen.
We just got too used to CSA making noises and not acting. I think those days are over. Is that not what we have all been hoping and waiting for?
So Csa has serious issues but our sport very obviously needs a governing body and rules. Without sanctioning you get to ride with dopers and mechanical dopers aka e bikes. Doesn't say much about our sport or ourselves. By not paying Csa are we not making our sport ethically and morally poorer and are we perhaps throwing the baby out with the bathwater . Can we become part of an active solution instead of just whining
ha do you seriously think csa commissaires are paid thousands????PS to the above - it costs to have CSA at your event, incase you don't know that. A good few thousand for their petrol and time and maybe accommodation too. And affiliation fees. That is where some of your entry money is going.
Do a commissaires course and this thread would not exist because you would have all the answers you seek. It's a seriously good idea to do some reading about the rules and regulations that govern a sport you are participating in
Love my scott genius 930 and it climbs really well
Currently in Germany. Cannot believe just how many e bikes I have seen. All used for COMMUTING. have not seen a single one on the trails.
