  1. Thanks, sort of thought that might be the best suggestion, rather feel safer in the wind than the extra help by being lighter
  2. Question, in the event the weather forecast of lots of wind remain. If you know of someone that is only semi comfortable on a road bike and more at ease with a MTB, is it best to rather suggest they do the race on a MTB with slicks?
  3. Everyone else enjoyed the race as much as I did ? such a nice route (compliments to all involved). And the weather played along, all though a bit less dust would have been great as around 23km in there was a descent with some serious ruts in the road and with all the dust it became difficult to spot the safe line. But bottom line, so glad to have been able to participate
  4. checked the route now and compared to last year there is quiet a bit of changes (or they just really over simplified the map)
  5. For some reason I could not get the strava link to work. Must say the organisation and routes were really top notch, so excited for tomorrow. congrats on your race position

  7. Well that was a VERY enjoyable day out with the family. Well organised and friendliness all around. Looking forward to tomorrows race.

  9. dam, there are 3 guys that rode a sub 3 from 5D ....now that is some riding, especially through traffic... or am I missing something?

  15. Must say that this thread is very quiet, you might just start to think that the CTCT is all about the road race only...
  16. Seems both Race & Adventure is sold out, but the entries to the general public has been opened for the Ride
  17. Always enjoy reading the racereports, for someone riding more to the back it does give some insight of what happens in front

  22. Is there a reason the city does not transport the sand away? or keeping it natural?
  23. We have been parking at the CTICC, feels a bit safer and easy to get on and off the N1
