  1. Now if we can stop the ball sweat, we have a winner .....
  2. If this happened to someone I know, I wouldn't be interested in the woman's side of the story. I'd join my buddy hand in hand and beat the living f$%^$k out of the culprit. Even if it means some doing some time, unless I manage to get out on a technicality. Ek hoop sy *** is geboek... Someone needs to show this man what PK feels like, not a fine, not jail time.... He needs a beating.
  3. Well that clears it up for me. Sour grapes? Smells like Rosè to me.
  4. As I understand it, you are saying ASG started a new event with your events name, date and route and market the event with a huge budget, thus your clubs event just vanishes into thin air ?
  5. The problem comes from both sides of the fence. When I am on my bike there are cars that get on my nerves! when I'm in my car there are days that cyclists get on my nerves..... The fact is we were all born imperfect and we all make mistakes, sometimes those mistakes cost peoples lives. So is life.... You all are bound to be effected by other peoples mistakes for the rest of your lives. I just try keep calm, that's not always possible though.... This morning I'm driving on Nelmapius in Centurion, a road I often ride on my bike as well.... Those of you that know this road, it's really narrow.... If you ride on that road in peak hour traffic, I'm sorry but you have a death wish..... So this morning I see this guy on his "29"er riding on the road, the cars are stuck behind him, one by one the cars manage to squeeze just past him..... I had less confidence and was stuck behind for a km or so..... What really frustrates me is just next to the road was a perfectly good foot path ? Why why why did this idiot not use the foot path ? It was clear ? Instead he risks his life riding on a road that can barely cater for 2 cars, let alone a cyclist as well. That to me is exactly why we have so many cyclists dying on our roads.... It's simple really, cars don't give a flying ^&^&$# about cyclists and many cyclists don't give a flying @^&$ about cars... Not a great combo.
  6. How come ? They 650B compatible ?
  7. If things carry on like this I might switch over to motor cross. It's cheaper....
  8. That's because people look at components and compare to other models. Specialized focus on the frame, then spec the bike. They don't need good components to sell a bike. I'm not going to brand bash, I don't want the fan boys to come in their hordes.... But my fiancé has a R6k spez with V brakes, that bike rides like a dream, better than a bike double it's price range...... Eye opener to me.... You really don't need to be riding with a 20k group set with the quality of mid range sets like X7 and SLX these days.
  9. Completely agree with you.... I really don't understand why people chase components.... They are consumables.... When you buy a bike you buy development, design and frame material first.... XX1 on a krap frame means nothing...X7 on a stumpjumper? That's a gem right there.
  10. My wife and my bank account despise you....
  11. But look at her..... I used a marathon to compare... Now that the 2 pics are next to each other, I'll confess.... I much prefer the look of lefty fork.... http://twentynineinches.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/IMG_1339.jpg
  12. Now look at that.....She is beautiful !!!!
  13. Looks like someone took Spez S-works epic and put half a fork on it with no brain.
  14. I don't like lefties because when you turn right they flex too much.
  15. Wayne Girdlestone is in New Zealand.... The number I gave above is his South African "under study"...
  16. Tyron Beeker Around R 500.00 to R 600.00 per month. oh eight too four nine zero two three zero seven
  17. WTF ? Did you even read the guys post ? You make no sense what so ever.... 173cm on a 19" ?
  18. Ill take the bait.... Firstly, try spell check before you post. Secondly, I clearly mentioned I'd stick to my opinion and stand by it. Looks like you missed that part. Taking heat from a bunch of online profiles is not something I find intimidating, so yes I can take the heat. I stated my opinion, but I'm just not willing to argue it. I find it pathetic that people can be so bored with life that other people's bike racks covering their number plates can be seen as a issue by them... I forgot, the hub is filled with a whole bunch of saints who live perfect lives. I have also become tired of opening threads that blame and flame everyone, it's annoying... Hence my first reaction. So, while you go out and play robocop this weekend, ill be out riding my bike, my bike rack will be covering my number plate. So look out for me.
  19. I just love people who talk absolute sense !!!!!! Listen to what this guy said, it's fact....
  20. Flip man, that would send my alarm bells ringing.... The problems not the dead rats, he will probably avoid them. The problem is the sick live ones are easy to catch and initiate that hunting response. If it was me, I'd remove all poison from the roof and find a alternative. I have had cases like this with my dogs. I remove all variables/suspects from the equation and see if it persists... Worked for me, my dog actually had a allergy to his shampoo, can you believe it....
  21. Showing what? How to measure flex or how much they flex ?
  22. Beats me as well.... That's the main reason stopping me from buying one.
  23. More importantly, how many of you have actually measured the flex on these frames ?
  24. I'll stick to my comments..... But I wont be responding to these comments no longer, it's a waste of my time. Go complain about the guy walking his dog without a leash or something... What a joke
