  1. Giving away exact locations is not something photographers generally do hey... On the road around Inchanga.
  2. Aloes coming to life in the Midlands.
  3. Hot !!
  4. I am itching to get a drone, Phantom4pro would be lekker, but... 30k. Just hurts thinking about spending that on a toy.
  5. soo many options there, you can get some nice pano's to print 2m wide. Use the 70-200 and capture lotsa data then enjoy your time in PS putting them all together.
  6. A fresh image from the Midlands.
  7. Purchase was R2000, got the Salomons on special so R500 cash back. The time and effort you will have to put in may not be all that worth it to chase them for the full cash back, but as you said now you can start using the shoes. I also kept them in the box until this was sorted.
  8. Shoe booster sorted and 25% cash back received for the initial spend.
  9. ^^^^ This. You can keep the HRM connected to both TR and Garmin. I run mine like.
  10. @ Gerald. Received my Team Vitality cash back for your race, Shova and 947. So thats finally sorted but seems they behind with the cash back from Sportmans Warehouse this month. I got the running shoes on 9th Feb and should have received 25% back on this billing cycle. Will just wait for next month and take it from, just hope this is not a sign that the shoe booster isn't linked.
  11. Tons of video's out there to learn about PS, that's how I got going. Filters are a must have if you enjoy long exposure work. I started with cheap stuff which was a waste of money and quickly upgraded to Lee which is some of the best in the business but very expensive. Check them out here. https://www.landscapegear.co.za/photographic-accessories-lee.php?subcat=8 The owner of Landscapegear.co.za is one of the best landscape photographers in SA. Check him out here > http://hougaardmalan.com/ He's based in CPT also and runs workshops there if you would like to learn more. https://www.capturearth.com/
  12. Thanks again man. Lightroom is a lot easier to manage your workflow and edit, whereas PS has all the more advanced functions which you really need to learn and understand. I only really started using PS recently, in the past I only used it to blend images together as I didn't like the automated HDR tools out there. The last 2 years for me were more cycling focused, I did some photography but not as much as I should have been doing. The Cape has soo much more to offer for photography vs Durban or JHB. 13. Umhlanga Lighthouse - 1minute exposure on a very overcast morning.
  14. Thanks Andrew. The last 2 are old images which I just reworked in Photoshop after learning some new skills. I've decided to give more time to photography this year, so getting back into it after some time. A backpacking trip to the Berg next month, back to Hole in The wall in April and maybe Cape Town and Overberg in September.
  15. Hole In The Wall
  16. Long exposure at Brighton Beach
  17. 1000 Hills view
  18. with a firmware update, the old unit should work with the new sensor. I am using a 510 with the new sensors.
  19. Not sure they can be repaired. If still under warranty then try Navworld. If not, then buy the new style speed/cadence sensor. This GSC10 is problematic, had to dump 2 in a space of few months.
  20. Definitely a gremlin in the system. I activated the shoe booster on Tuesday, got the welcome email etc yesterday and collected welcome pack today and got the speedcross. Will wait on cash back now, hopefully at the end of this month.
  21. Yeah running in mud, need some extra stability and grip at the outdoor shooting range. And if the shoe booster works like it should then it ends up costing me R375 [if I meet all my goals] + the R300 activation.
  22. Interesting, I activated the shoe booster yesterday and going to grab the Speedcross 4 tomorrow. Just hope I dont end up with issues too.
  23. Being taking honey and pepper, seems to help ease up the chest. Rode this morning after 7 days and felt ok after 75km. Back to business from Monday.
  24. just did the health test, first time everything is within range. 25000 points in the bag. 9600 to get to move to Diamond next year.
