some apps I checked shows the rain coming in after 11, so plan to be done by then. But if its wet, run lower tyre pressures. Brake earlier as there will be a delay on wet brakes, but don't be to hard as it might kick you off when it does eventually stop.

never been to a 947 expo - how busy does it get ? I plan to be there very early on Thursday morning to get everything over and done with.

Big storms are predicted for Thursday/Friday so hopefully it comes on these days and by Sunday we have a calm day. The wind just needs to stay away... Current forecast shows that its calm for the earlier parts of Sunday and then increases as the day progresses.

Still improved and moved up 3 places in the alphabet soup so all good would have been better if they didn't adjust the winners times and left the beta at 1.08 but hey, that would be making it too easy.

yeah, if the winners time is corrected to 2:36 then my index should improve by 12 so hoping they get it sorted.

Seeding has been updated on PPA but the winner times is showing there as 2:21 for the 103km. I see Racetec results are now corrected so will this filter through to PPA/Cycleevents ?

Me three, although I am in DBN I come up quite often to do races here.

sometimes you have the guts but don't have the legs... I managed to get to the front of EL over the route and from about 60km I was in the main group. On the last straight, I wanted to pull infront to try and pick up the pace a bit, but just got blown back by the wind, tried again and same happened so had no choice but to sit in. Ended up 14th in the group.

Racetec will have to do a clean up, quite a few dodge looking results there.

I see a few tandems came home very quickly, wonder which time will be used for seedings....
