Iron what gear/combination do you guys on the SS use for 94.7?

No road closure and last year if I remember correctly there was a race on at Van Galens on the same day so we had a bit of traffic to get through on that bit of road but it was ok

Spoke to another friend at cadence last night who is also going to join us just sent him the entry forms

Yes would be perfect if we had a group of 8 or more and stuck together. Would also come in handy if the wind decides to blow some of those sections would be hard work alone.

I did my first 94.7 last year had a C start and rode 3 hrs I have been riding crap so was expecting to drop a few groups which was fine as C was too fast for me last year I just got my email and I am now in B group

Elevation was 1163 last year according to my garmin with a distance of 93.32kms

Anyone have a map or directions to venue?

That was a hard ride. I rode myself broken into that wind I was about 18 minutes slower than last year and twice as knackered at the end.

Just collected my pack quick and painless and got bumped up from F to C so thats fine happy with that

Just got my number dropped from BL where I normally start to FL and an 08-00 start ?

My Garmin gave me 107.7kms and 604m of climbing last year. The dirt wont be a worry unless it rains last year the mud was deep as in it jammed up into the brakes etc lots of guys had to stop and clean out their bikes before they could continue it was quite hectic mud. Dirt section I think is just less than about a km

Yes on the mend now did D2D today which was first time on the bike since 2 weeks ago when I got hit. Little bit of discomfort still but totally bearable. Got hit by a Taxi on Oxford Road. He ran into be from behind. I felt the 2 weeks off the bike today at the D2D suffered nicely

I got dropped at 9kms just couldnt hold the group. Rode alone untill I got into a little group past Tarlton. Got dropped by them as we went into cradle and rode the rest of the race by myself. I am shattered but happy to finish Did a 3-11
