  1. I have entered but dont have any details on the race or route
  2. And this is what he just got last week waiting to hear from him what he thinks and how it compares to his old one. I know he will enjoy being able to drop the saddle by remote
  3. This is/was my cousins that I rode last time I was in UK
  4. Yes they are very impressive brakes
  5. Will racetec remove the 9 riders from in front of Jules and fix up the results? or will the 75kmph rider stay on top I think the winner in the short race was on a ZX10 or something for his 198kmph average
  6. Really enjoyed it today glad the rain stayed away but agree the wind at times made the going pretty tough in some parts. Ended up finishing in 3 22 which was much better than I expected so pretty happy. I also thought marshalls did a good job and route intersections were well manned and marked
  7. I got similar looking one from the inside of my tyre which had only had stans added and tyre had never been bombed either pretty sure that was stans.
  8. I had a proper set up and bike fit done on my road bike out of interest when I got home I did the measurement as i was interested to see how it compared to my mountain bike which set up was done by a friend about 2 years back. They were within a mm or 2 of each other so I would say you first need to know which one is right or wrong or maybe (more likely) they are both wrong one in each direction (of your correct position) which would lead to the greater difference but also allowing both to feel fairly good. Get one of them set up correctly I think it will be worth it in the long run.
  9. Yep the frame weight is scary makes you think it will break when you ride it, I remember when I got my Blur frame thinking no way this will stand up to abuse but I have yet to manage to harm it despite my best efforts.. Welcome to Cruz family awesome bikes
  10. RAND WATER RACE FOR VICTORY Race Number: DL 1729 Starting Time: 07:48:00 AM was GL last time but missed my start group hopefully I can start on time this Sun GTRacing is Dave back for Sunday and if so is he starting with you?
  11. That was interesting reading thanks for the link Any guys riding the electronic group sets as I would be interested to hear their thoughts on those
  12. Last bit of that climb today was just nasty
  13. I have XT pedals on my MTB with Sidi Dragons for past 2 years been very happy. I recently got a road bike and fitted the Look carbon blades and a friend gave me a pair of spez s works carbon shoes. I know its maybe not a MTB on MTB comparison and I dont know if its more the shoes or the pedals but I wish the MTB could feel as comfortable and as good as the road bike does.
  14. The Blur is still Boutique
  15. Dont like the Blue but the Carbon Red you posted above is Stunning
  16. You cant and wont go wrong with that
  17. For some reason I never really was a fan of Contador but how he has ridden this Tour has been great. I am so glad he hung on Yesterday and got the deserved stage win never thought I would be supporting him like that as I am normally hoping any of the others beat him Either way its been great viewing with so many riders making it one of the best races for a long time.
  18. http://www.syncros.com/syncros/global/en/ http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/scott-buy-component-makers-syncros-32816/
  19. Yes what surprised me was that Ritchy owned and sold Syncros to Scott which considering how much of their stuff Scott was using seemed a strange move. Now you see almost everything on the range that was Ritchy replaced with Syncros although there is still some Ritchy wcs carbon bits here and there. My 2012 Cr1 has the Mavic Elites and Ritchy post etc which I prefer as I dont know enough about the Syncros wheels etc the weight of the bike has basically stayed the same so looks like all the bits are around the same weight as what they have replaced
  20. I suppose it makes sense that Syncros is featuring in a big way now on their bikes thats the one big change.
  21. Got a little CRC parcel today (after 24 days ) Nice Arione CX saddle for the roadbike got the lttle Fizik light and saddle bag as well so can swop across to the Gobi on my MTB which will be handy. A spare mount for the garmin and some brake pads and some supersonic light weight tubes. Both bikes spoilt equally
  22. I couldnt believe the speed saxo bank hit that climb with they were maintaining about 33kmh for quite a while it wasn't the 20 percent they hit later but it was still steep I dont know how they manage that scary...
