Worked mine out to 183.5 Quite impressed with the formula as when on a training ride we had a bit of a go up the last 1.5kms of Hekpoort at time of giving up the chase basically 100m from the top I was hitting 182 and that was it nothing left to give so have been using 182 as my max since then. The 220 less age would give me 174

Got mine now batch C @ 6-43 Looking at those estimated batch times there is no way I am a 2-40 rider I am hoping at best to just break a sub 3. Should I stay in C or would it benefit me to drop back a few batches based on my personal target time? Its not gonna help me to ride 2-40 pace for 50kms and then 5 hour pace for the last 40 because I am stuffed

I stayed at the finish waiting for my friend who was held up. The organisers did announce that he was in hospital but was intubated and badly injured,they said to hope to have an update in 30 minutes but did not hear anything else. I really hope he is ok it hits home to think you can go out to enjoy a ride and end up in Hospital.

I enjoyed the route and the ride Ended up with 3-42 which was much better than I expected The BL group was the biggest group I have ridden in so far and there were a few scary moments I still need to get used to riding in such big groups

If you have your CRC page settings on rand and country as the uk that will give you the actual price u will end up paying give or take 30 rand If you set it to rand and south africa the price is tax free IE its 14% cheaper you then pay the 14% here as we pay the tax on this side and it equates back to the same.

Yes 2010 was baking hot I really suffered in that heat on that one. Yesterday was really nice much easier this time with the cooler weather.
