  1. I suggest go to www.livestrong.com and track your food, training and other activities. You can also setup your BMI, weight, optimal weight, how much you suppose to eat and train to loose weight and all and all..... This is a very helpful site.
  2. I have a Giant Anthem X1 XL, no problem there.
  3. We move among GIANTS ? awesome. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  4. Also had excellent service, only problem is to get to them in Midrand on a Friday afternoon. Traffic in Midrand sucks.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  5. Try these guys - booking@downhilladventures.com they send me prices on Giants: Dear Herman Thank you for your enquiry. We offer Giant Boulders @ R140.00 per 24 hours and Giant Rincons @ R200.00 per 24 hours. Warm Regards
  6. Look at their website www.teakplace.co.za you will find everything here
  7. Then you definitely don?t want to see what?s ahead of you. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  8. The single-track at the dam with the water bridge should also be quite a challenge at night; I definitely don?t want to see what?s ahead of me, some wicked drop-offs. So can only imagine at night could be a bit crazy. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  9. Manbearpig, I remember your thread about the bad service, to tell you the truth, the ?informal? restaurant with the guy singing cool oldies while sipping on your beer was actually fantastic, it?s the second time I had the same waitress ? Portia, she was awesome, quick and very friendly, never had to wait for a good supply of beer coming our way. I have not experienced the bad service yet ? and hope not to in future.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> thehermanator2009-08-31 00:10:13
  10. Yea, its downhill from thereon. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  11. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> In my humble opinion it?s by far the best place for single track riding in <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Gauteng. Yesterday I explored 40km of single track, some quite challenging. I also love the hills, great training ground to get your cardio fitness a good workout. The landscape also changes to such an extend that I never felt bored. If you explore the single track on the other side of the Kromdraai road, you find the most amazing view, from Magaliesburg to Krugersdorp and Randfonteind all the way round to Johannesburg. These guys cater for all types, and for all different scenarios, form nice uphill?s, to downhill?s, forest, grassland, felt to even a very gnarly water bridge crossing. And the best part of it all, the Beer and Chicken burger afterwards. Yea ? its my favourite.
  12. That?s great to know, I have one of them and I think it?s a fantastic bike. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  13. Yea safe from all the crooks' date=' but not safe from yourself, there you try and hijack yourself on the <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Blue Route. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> [/quote'] I got lots of scars and broke 2 ribs in the rock (Chinese?) garden there a while ago And and and Wend's just refuses to make that wet rooty corner safe (for me that is, apparently others ride it) - I did see some bits of concrete slabs there now but it still doesn't help me .... thanks for trying Wendell! I would love to see someone do the route without stopping, stumbling, unclipping or falling their ass off. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  14. Yea safe from all the crooks, but not safe from yourself, there you try and hijack yourself on the <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Blue Route. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  15. Agreed, this was one of the nicest days out, a freakishly quick race too, everything went absolutely according to plan. Beeeeeer hmmmmm. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  16. I am very disappointed about Super Cycling and the small amount of airtime Mountain Biking receives. My humble opinion is that Mountain Biking is popular enough to have its own television slot only. Everyone says that it?s the fastest growing sport in the country ? right? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  17. Thank you guys you rock. I got a sweet deal on my Rudy Project glasses. Excellent price and service. Now I need to test them out - so I think I am taking the rest of the day off.
