  1. On a 26 I believe for the front shock clearance a fox fork works but rockshox can be a problem.

  3. As a track event has been organized for this Thursday the 28th of June 2012 , and Sunday the 1st of July2012 it is with regret that we have to cancel cycling ,jogging ,Rollerblading on the track, we will not open the track as previously advised ,we again apologize for the inconvenience caused.
  4. DRC are much more reliable than cr@ppy Alex. The DRC aluminum rims are quite heavy but built with a decent hub they are bullet proof.

  15. Listening earlier in the week Ster Kinekor stated the Velskoen was still making good money but the owners of the land decided it was more profitable to use for other uses. The introduction of TV was the start of drive ins closing, but encroaching commercialism and need for property encroached on the drive ins which were mostly built outside in open areas up to then plus the explosion of shopping malls where 3/4/5 cinemas offered movie goers a better choice.

  17. East rand we had quite a pick, Brakpan, Atlas, Germiston. Early memories of climbing into my parents car in pajama's with hot dogs, crisps and cold drink, if you paid for the 1st show you could stay and watch 2nd, then sometimes on special occasions there was also a midnight show.
  18. It will be This Sunday the 24th of June the track will be open for cycling from 07:30am until 10:30 am, at R20 per person. Cyclists who are admitted through the main gates of Kyalami between the hours of 7:30am to 10:30am, having paid R20 per person, will be allowed to cycle, jog, walk or rollerblade untill 12 noon, the main Kyalami gates will be closed at 10:30am and no late admission through the main gates will be admitted after 10:30am on Sunday mornings.
  19. I agree with cptmayem, of the 2 you listed the KTM is better option. As for backup and customer service, i have found Silverback in SA are very good, don't know what KTM are like.

  22. My MTB shoes cost R550 (Olympic), helmet R450 (Giro), was given the pedals. Specs i bought a pair that darkens/lightens depending on the light from MrsCycling fan for under R400 which i use for most of my MTB rides.
