  1. Sounds great in theory, but the special cycle lanes built are been abused. I drive through Braamfontein everyday and see the vehicles parked and driving in the green "cyclists" lane. Yesterday there was even a metro car parked there. Not to start a helmit helmut helmet debate but i would expect someone who heads an organization that encourages others to use cycling he is noticeably without one. http://www.iolproperty.co.za/roller/news/entry/joburg_wants_to_encourage_more
  2. Saw the post yesterday and can understand why it was removed.
  3. Much better Lions.
  4. Wonder if anyone at the expo will ask to be reseeded to a earlier batch for hopes of posting a good time.
  5. Ok for Stormers and Sharks fans but what must us Lions fans do after been beaten by the Stormers and Sharks.
  6. Did the CTCT organizers think what this will do to riders Strava' bragging rights, how insensitive of them.
  7. Follow up. The Cycle Tour is not about the distance. It's about the atmosphere and the jol, says Kevin McCallum. Cape Town - The first joke about the revised Cape Town Cycle Tour took seconds to hit the interwebs. With a distance of only 47km, the magical figure of a sub-three hour “Argus” was on for all. Time is still a massive attraction for many at the event, and is one of the weaknesses and the strengths of the event. No matter how far back a rider starts, they are obsessed with their time. http://www.iol.co.za/sport/cycling/cycle-tour-think-about-the-fun-1.1827320#.VPgF8PmUeqE
  8. Airial footage is going to be amazing, one looooong stream of cyclists. Chatted to a few guys that had entered, all sympathetic, those that were using the race built in as part of a holiday are going ahead, others doing it as a hit and run will cut their costs and cancel. As for refund it has not entered their heads as the race is held for charity.
  9. Lol Pretoria - A Waterkloof Ridge student’s smoking habit cost him his inheritance, the High Court in Pretoria heard on Tuesday. This came to light as one of Pretoria West businessman Dawid van Vuuren’s sons contested his will, in which he disinherited his two sons and bequeathed everything to his two daughters. http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/sons-inheritance-claim-goes-up-in-smoke-1.1826666#.VPauq_mUeqE
  10. Entertaining game, cost me Superbru points but well done Cheetah's.
  11. Was wondering what happened to my breakfast cereal.
  12. Been almost a year since I found this guy, he really has grown from been frightened and mistrusting of humans into a confident and sociable dog.
  13. As mentioned I would first log on then connect my unit, download and log off and remove unit. Then log on separate profile, connect unit and download. Not sure if you've linked strava and garmin connect but that might be another challenge.
  14. Where do you draw the line, does this include no thread or commenting on incidents where some nut job/s commit murder in name of religion.
  15. You the man
  16. Was sceptical at first but, yup, found myself.
  17. Same way you require a TV lic to buy a TV it can be bypassed, legislation is only as good as its enforced. You can buy pre registered sim cards from certain cell shops.
  18. Great news for Lions after spending 2014 without a major sponsor. Johannesburg - The Golden Lions success in 2014 has finally brought them on a par with their more affluent rivals. According to the supersport.com website, the Lions are set to announce a partnership with global airline icon Emirates and two other sponsors on Thursday. http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/Major-sponsorship-coup-for-Lions-20141210
  19. Might want to add and give Whiteley more game time, after all he was the most effective S15 defender this year. http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/Whiteley-best-Super-Rugby-defender-20141204
  20. Poor performance from Boks, even with a number questionable of ref calls they should have performed better. 2/4 requires a lot of work by Meyer, the key players were kept out of the currie cup and rested so we cannot blame over played as a reason.
  21. Far safer indoors regards poisoning, mine sleep inside at night then next morning before I let them out I check the front yard for anything suspicious. Day time when I'm at work they are kept in the back yard.
  22. That they are, slight bump today when half time they were only 9-0 up against Georgia but beat Australia next week and i expect they will swap rankings with England who have lost 2 so far.
