  1. Flippin hell it's a music video not a porn movie - I say find out how much she is going to be paid and make a business decision not a moral one. If it were a porn movie it would be a moral one. The fact that he is still teary eyed and full of **** is not your problem. Take his money and move on - just stipulate no kissing and any other **** and everything will be fine - oh and money in the bank first.
  2. Right now I'm concentrating on not drowning I am up to 1km now without too much effort, I am concentrating more on completing the distance rather than the time factor - once I am confident that I can do the 1.9km's then I will start to work with the black red clock thingie now that I know what it is used for.
  3. Dude I promise there is not one normal clock around the pool area at the VA in Boksburg - Heh heh anyways off to go train now gotta bike and run this afternoon and the wind is howling outside - I'm gonna *** bricks
  4. Ah ah ah I am so excited, I think I will do that one - thanks Wheelsuck
  5. Lol yes thanks. I am still going to ask for a normal clock. Would just like to know if I got in the pool at 12:30 and out at 13:15 that I had done 45 mins of training - I don't own a watch.
  6. Thanks - any idea of the date of the Vanderbijl one? Is that not also supposed to be a 70.3?
  7. Sorry yes it is called Swimovate Pool-Mate, got some very good reviews. Features • Laps • Time • Average Strokes per lap • Speed • Distance • Calories • Set times • Pause function • Efficiency Index • Large Memory • Alarm and fully functioning stylish digital watch • Water Resistant to 50m Ja shebeen Iron Man will be my first tri - go big or go home is what I say - Energade series really seems to be a bit of a teny bopper event. Missd I am in Jhb area but it does sound like a great idea to try to get some sort of a training group together.
  8. Grrrrr the Virgin has one of those funny clocks with a black and red arrow by the pool, I don't know what the hell that thing is used for - going to suggest they put up a normal clock by the pool. Also came across this little goodie which should assist in practice - R1200 at Troi Sport R700 from CRC.
  9. How do you know how far you have swam when doing the open water stuff? One of the main reasons I only practice in the pool.
  10. My bad - I now see what you see just I still see that one has got a bigger dick than the other - are they maybe husband and wife? Maybe they are planning a morning "ride" after all.
  11. K so it is my first Yster Man 70.3 coming up and I want some advice and tips from all you experienced folk. Such as - how different is a sea swim to a pool swim. Should I practice swimming far longer distances in the pool? How much advantage will I gain from body surfing on the way back in ? How much effect will the currents have - are there any? Tell me about transition areas Do you all participate in a tri suit or change into the respective events clothing? Are you allowed to get people to support you on the side of the road or do you have to take in all your fluids and eats in the transition areas. I am sure you guys will think of a few other things.
  12. Why is it that the white one has a bigger dick -I mean foot? It smacks of racism.
  13. Can honestly say I lost interest in this Trivial crap show after its first edition. I have not watched an episode since - pretty much like all reality TV it is out of fashion and they should just can it. Like Luke Watson I get the same churning feeling when Mara opens her mouth (she first needs to remove her foot) followed by Cliff (Thank goodness he got up in the morning or the sun wouldn't have risen). I've seen far more enlightening and intelligent stuff on channel 303
  14. I'm picturing the one that wore black leather - I think he was supposed to be a cop?
  15. We normally go on a Saturday morning and do a club ride on Sunday - doesn't really matter i suppose it still tough no matter what day of the week it is
  16. One tip I have - Never lose respect for that place, when you become over confident that is when you see your ass big time and SBR has many ways of making you see your ass.
  17. MMMMMMM naughty naughty never come down the first climb it is a one way and gives us a bad rep with the parks board for not obeying reserve rules - you will also be in for a few choice words from other cyclists - as well as the danger factor.
  18. Cattle Grid to Cattle Grid for me
  19. K if I have got the right picture in mind from where you are starting the clock you are more towards the 2:50 mark for a complete lap - still way good enough for a sub 3:45 94.7
  20. 2:35 Loop will get you a sub 3 - that is if you are doing the 57km loop and your time is from cattle grid to cattle grid.
  21. It is probably the best training you can do for 94.7 - anyone wanting to join we are leaving the Wimpy in Sunward Park tomorrow at 5:30 riding to the reserver - through the reserve and back - now that is good training for the 94.7
  22. Apparently being a douche is not so bad
  23. Grrrrr another misunderstanding...let me elaborate on my comment. When going into a race you should be peeking therefore have already lost any excess weight that you may have been carrying or built up during base training. In other words if you were 120Kg's and are 115Kg's now then that is your base weight to start the race even though ultimately your goal may be to get to 100kilos. Rome was not built in a day. Our bodies go up and down all the time with weight variances in preparation, be this via muscle building or fat building. Concentrate on the race and what your body needs to do well in the race - if this means a bowl of pasta then a bowl of pasta it is, don't take into account the weight factor - you will have more than enough time to work off the bowl of pasta after the race in training sessions to follow and continue to achieve your goal. I understand that Splat's overall goal is to loose weight but is he racing to loose weight / have fun (if this is the case worry about the weight factor) or racing for a good time or position (if this is the case eat what you need to do well)? Stay away from Pizza, rather the Pasta. Hope this makes things clearer and less Douchier
  24. You should have already lost the fat
