  1. I speak under correction but I think you can add about 20% import duty onto your order. Also unless you take the courier delivery you can have some anxious waits for your products to arrive in the post. I have been waiting 23 days now for a pair of glasses from them, think they have already been distributed to the needy and have resigned myself to never receiving them. It all adss up and you could probably buy them locally for about the same price after you add all the individual charges. In my opinion CRC is only worth it if you can get the product at a massive discount or you are ordering loads of stuff and can score on the free delivery offer.
  2. Ok so I think I have finally found the answer. For the past two years I have been getting the flu on average once every 6 weeks. Trip after trip to the doctor only to always get told that it is unfortunately the fit people who get sick and we just need to live with it. Eventually I got sick of being sick if that makes any sense, not to mention the doctors bills. 3 Months back I decided f the doctors and their cr#p and went off to the local pharmacy to do some hunting. I ended up in the herbal section and found two products in particular made by a company called Tibb. They are Septogard and Black Seed. Two Septogard Tabs in the morning and night as well as 1 Black Seed Capsule in the morning and night and I have been just peachy for three months now. There are a few other advantages of this stuff. a) It is natural so you can never fail a drug test B) Both products together are about the same price as your normal multi vitamin (There is a support line number on the containers and this gets you through to the Doc who manufactures the stuff if you ever need any advice - which is pretty neat, info directly from the horses mouth so to speak) I first started taking the stuff when I had full blown flu and it took around 4 days to get me right. I started my daughter on it when she had the flu and it took around 5 days in her case. I take the stuff everyday and have not had a hint of the flu in 3 months so I am trusting that it is the product and not just pure luck - if anything my training has increased and I am pushing myself harder now. Hope this helps
  3. My stuff posted on 30 July and I am still waiting, my worst fears are starting to surface as the order is for a set of Oakley Jawbones! I am already resigning myself to the fact that they have probably already been re-distributed to the needy
  4. To say the 305 only had a battery issue is an understatement of note. The issue with the 305 is the complete 305 unit!! Battery, Screen, Firmware, Water Proofing to name but a few. Your only Garmin consideration should be a 705.
  5. 305 a BIG NO, 705 most definitely.
  6. In short if you are going to buy a Raleigh take your tape measure with!!
  7. Cervelo what would you say your time saving is in the Ironman by using a TT bike as opposed to your normal road bike. Also can you tell me the weight difference between your TT bike and Road bike.Would riding a heavier TT bike still save you time? Really what I am trying to get at is the worth of specifically paying maybe 8k for a raleigh TT bike for ironman of just rather doing it on my existing Road Bike. Unless the time saving is significant I really cannot see the justification for the expense.
  8. Here are some boxers - George Foreman, Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Evander Hollyfield, Oscar De La Hoya and last but not least Mikey Schultz
  9. Mine really is the truth

  11. Ok hubbers our customers asked us for an After Sun Gel rather than an After Sun cream - So I now present you with Stinger Brands UV Gel !! Stinger Brands UV Gel is used to relieve the after effects of Sun Burn. Stinger Brands UV Gel also includes an anti inflammatory which means that not only will it turn your skin brown and stop you from peeling after being burnt by the sun but will also help relieve your tired and sore muscles. The role out of Stinger Brands UV Gel to our stores will begin today and should retail from around R70 Incl Vat although our distributors have carte blanch on pricing so you may just find it cheaper in some stores. Stinger Brands are also now happy to announce that we have someone full time on the road for us so we should be out in the West Rand and Pretoria areas soon. If we are not in a store close to you remember you can get our products online at http://www.sportbru.co.za P.S. sorry for the bad quality pic - taken with an old Nokia phone but it really is just to give you an indication of what the product looks like. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o318/Muxster/26032010.jpg
  12. Well there is your problem - SABC nuff said
  13. Tour De Frans cycles does this on their Sunday rides. 20 Bucks gets you a support vehicle some coffee and a muffin.
  14. Martie I think he was sentenced to one years imprisonment
  15. Yup as stated I am not too sure weather it is fact or urban myth, from the testimony of ossum it looks like it may just be urban myth.
  16. Does it count for boots aswell? And what if they die 5 seconds after the accident and still have their shoes on? I take that as instant aswell. Mampara, I am not sure but my understanding is that it counts for all types of shoes - boots included from what I have been told.
  17. This is a pic from 2009 where 15 people were killed instantly in a suicide bomb attack A Sri Lankan policeman collects shoes from the scene where a Tamil Tiger suicide bomber attacked outside a mosque in Akuressa. Source: Reuters
  18. I have heard it from a few cops that when they come across a body especially those run over on highways and the shoes are missing then they know the person was killed instantly. As for knowing of anyone who has actually put the theory to the test fortunately not.
  19. Illegal to wear flip flops. It is even illegal to wear flip flops when driving a car. Reason is not very nice one but a valid one nonetheless. If you are in an accident and are killed instantly you always come out of your shoes - not sure why but this is what happens. If you are dead and still have your shoes on then the authorities know that you were not killed instantly.
  20. Let me help you, think of it as a Nature Reserve not a Bike Park then you will not be surprised to see game viewing vehicles and park officials. As for the Tandem, riding in Suikerbos with Two Full Carbon Deep Section Wheels that were so deep they were almost full disk wheels is not the best idea. Then throw on some tubbie's and you are even worse off. This is a blow out waiting to happen and it did - lucky the guy and gal escaped a bad fall!!
  21. Recently whilst watching sport I have noticed that there are some sponsors which really dominate the sport in terms of equipment offered to participants. For example Specialized seem to sponsor any team that ride a bicycle, Nike any athlete who competes in the IAAF, Monster any thing with an engine in it, GM anyone who can hold a cricket bat. The fact that I can remember these names off hand probably means that the company has done its job. However I also wonder if the fact that any athlete good or bad can make use of a companies product does not prostitute the brand or weaken the brand and put the quality of their equipment to question. MRF's exclusivity comes to mind. They only sponsored a few select cricketers in the world which almost made their product exclusive. They also only sponsored the best and nobody else. This in my mind made me perceive that their equipment had to be the best because it was only used by the best. Two sides to the coin here - what do you think?
  22. Yes Edman you are correct. Protea Hotel entrance side is also called the N3 entrance.MuXmAn2010-03-01 08:50:12
  23. Tachy how good a rider are you? If you are doing more than 3 hours in the 94.7 I would suggest just starting with driving to SBR first and doing the ride.
  24. Basically what you are trying to do is the Race for Victory - check the times for that and it will give you a good indication of what you are up against.....only problem is that the race for victory has only about 20km's of the reserve incorporated into it and is in the Karee Kloof side and out the N3 side. As stated above if you want to go in at Karee Kloof and out Karee Kloof you will do about 48km's of the reserve.
  25. Looks like we are gonna pay for that porn channel after all
