Spring is in the air here up north. Stunning weather at the moment.

Looking at that clip I can't help to think that taxiing around in that thing could also be rather interresting.

What were their arguments against it be?

Think the media ( or whoever ) was talking crap calling the Stratolaunch the worlds biggest aircraft. More like the plane with the longest wingspan in the world. You might actually pack both fuselages of the Stratolaunch in the Mriya + some crates with spares for good measure.

Really enjoyed watching yesterday. That pace was something else hey. My legs were hurting just looking at it. Was so hoping for Nils.

I am just thumbsucking here but is it possible that there were no stall warning, hence not throtteling back that would have been a normal procedure. I understand in a stall, before giving more power to gain speed you first need to get the nose down then throttle up. But if there were no stall warning and the nose pitches down, it could cause major confusion to the problem and the first thing in an emergency is fly the plane.

Yip mine was a red one. That thing was almost bullet proof. Man I loved that bike and put many many miles on it, till it was stolen. Man I sobbed about that bike being stolen.

Some pics of my ride last weekend. Weather is improving here in the north. Beautiful sunshine with white capped mountains in the background. Air temperature is still fresh but you could cycle with shorts.

That is a big blow. 50 Aircraft. And I think there are more too come the longer they wait to identify the cause of the accidents. I hope the get to the bottom of this soon. The 737 is such pilar in the Boeing family.
