  1. Oh yes, ZAR100, entries on the day. Registration for Elites closes 10:30, race at 11:45
  2. You and me. The Olympic Footwear schedule used to be on the www.cgcycling.co.za site, but I dont see it there anymore. Maybe all the copies got downloaded.
  3. Gonna be awesome!
  4. The 69er was not a popular seller, but it is really a sweet bike. I have 2 of them - one for training and one for racing. Handles beautifully and I use it mainly for xco. I use it in the Gauteng xco provincials and the xcosa series. She is doing me well on the points log...And her name is Goofy
  5. We have 7 bikes at home, used by 4 riders. Groupsets vary from Shimano SLX to XTR and SRAM XX. I will not pay money again for SRAM. If somebody gives me SRAM, I will put it in my black trunk and donate it to someone that I dont like. Really.
  6. And what an awesome event it was! Everything was top notch. Keep it up and we will have a great development platform for young riders and great fun event for the not-so-young. XCO rocks. Thanks guys.
  7. We use the Tacx i-Magic. Great product and the support from Coolheat is also ok.
  8. This is such an awesome race!
  9. Talking to myself here, but I think the girls should have it a bit easier.
  10. There is always an alternative (chicken run) at "extremely technical" sections. Viva xc, viva!!
  11. There is an early morning ride from Trinity Cycles every Saturday morning at 6. Caters for all levels of skills and fitness.
  12. My wife weighs 56kg and rides very gentle , but she has 2 nice dents on the rear wheel. The hubs showed some play after less than 1,000 km. They are really soft. But, we fix them up and then we go again. Good value for money (for a light rider), at least.
  13. Hartbeespoortdam will be on the map soon :-)
  14. Yes, I spoke to him 3 weeks ago when we raced at Fountains, it is a smaller frame, and he thought that the handling is better.
  15. We will see you there! One of the best events on the calendar.
  16. Did nothing for me. In fact...
  17. How is the problem with results going to effect the points log?
  18. And Fountains was beautiful to ride at. Great race, hopefully the number (participant turn out), will increase.
  19. So very sad. RIP
  20. Thanks for the reply.
  21. Anybody seen the schedule for 2012 yet?
  22. Your event of 28 July clashes with the Anatomic High School series - which means that many will have to choose between either doing the one series or the other, as both have log points. If you can change that event to another date then you will definately get many more entrants for your entire series.
  23. Yes, the old man was quite fast. But he kept missing the markers - which were very clear. Maybe that's the problem - the guys are not looking. There's a coffee shop here called the BBM Cafe, best strawberry cheesecake!
  24. Well, I rode the blue route this morning with @Mackie and it was flippen lekker! It was well marked.
  25. Let me know when you will be riding there again. Or pm me your email address - looking forward to go and try it out. Still looking for the 2012 Gauteng Provincial calendar though...
