First ride of the year! (Thanks COVID 🙄) Heading back to Stellenbosch via Elsenburg after Klapmuts.

I once stripped the bolt in the headset on my mountain bike. 😠 Took a hammer to a flat head screwdriver and managed to unscrew the bolt. 😂 I am not sure if I recommend this approach, but it worked for me.

Stellenbosch → Klapmuts → Elsenburg → Stellenbosch → Jonkershoek → Jamestown → Stellenbosch (77 km / 900 m elevation) That’s it for 2021!

Jonkershoek yesterday with a buddy of mine. It was incredibly hot! 🔥 But always a joy to ride in Jonkershoek. My first time there since the most recent fire - it really is looking barren in a lot of places (e.g. Irish climb). Still great trails - nice to ride up Bosluis 2 - I think that's a new one since I was last there.

I rode from Stellenbosch to Klapmuts and back via Elsenburg and Jonkershoek. Was lekker.
